Topcashback is a scam?
Comments
-
Beginning, I was very happy the service of 'Topcashback', I first online shopping in Tesco via 'Topcashback', and few hours later, I received the confirmed notice of Tesco tracking. Continues, I shopped flight ticket, buy computer, and holland & barrett. They were all confirmed tracking. Later, I received the 'Transaction Notification' email for every of orders. So, I try to login 'Topcashback' site for payment. The problem of log in account was appeared and I try to clicked the 'forgot password' function (even I am sure my password is correct). I contacted to customer service and no reply. The reason, I think 'Top Cashback' is scam because I went to all the step for cashback, but on the final step I have been kicked out from their 'Top Cashback' system.0

I think this thread should be removed as I do not believe it to be genuine.
If the OP has problems they should go to the topcashback thread and a rep will help, not attempt to discredit a reputable company like this.0 -
One my fav websites, great service so don't agree.0

Yes, it's a good site, but I've had several claims turned down from the merchants when I know I've complied with the system (clear cookies etc). They've blatantly lied to avoid paying, yet TCB still promote these companies. What doesn't help is that people give a favourable review once the transaction is pending, not when TCB have the actual money and is ready to pay out.0

Never had a problem with Topcashback and same with quidco.
I think rather than being a scam the OP is entering the details wrong.0 -
There are 2 sites - US (.com) and UK (.co.uk), if you are trying to log in to the US one it will not recognise the details....
...and the title of this thread is totally out of order and should be corrected as they are a great and totally trustworthy site in my experience.0 -

I wish MSE would add scam to the list of unacceptable words, I can't remember seeing it ever used legitimately on here.0

As this is now being dealt with by a Topcashback rep on the Topcashback thread, I think this thread should be closed.0
