    New yea, new start!
Had a busy, productive day yesterday-even though it was New Year's Day!
I did cook a roast lunch in the middle of all my busyness though and it was yummy! I even had half from DD1!

Today is operation Christmas decs-I'm getting sick of them now and I want/need to clean up. :)
Got a load of washing in dryer and another load waiting to go in washing machine, then there should only be a couple of loads left to do!
I've started making lists of regular jobs, one off jobs that need doing and jobs that cost money that need doing-so I need to focus on getting some money together to fund some of these things.
I've decided to use my Tilly tidies to fund one particular job and I have over £70 at the moment-I still need about £150-but I'm optimistic I'll have it within the month!
Right, off to get a Christmas tree box out the loft!

    Snap with the decorations!

I ought to make a list really of things to be done, maybe I will.

    Have a good day!

Well, the decs are back in the loft.
I've decluttered 4 bags of stuff to a friend and 5 bags of stuff in the car boot ready to go to charity tomorrow. :)
The lounge looks half decent now, still lots more decluttering and reorganising to do though! :)

    Good morning.
Been up since 7-took DD2 to work.
This morning so far I have:
    Scrubbed the floor
Done some odd niggly jobs that have been waiting ages.
Got a load of washing done and another ready to go on,
Dishwasher been on and is on again
Just having a quick cuppa and then getting back to it. Loads to do-always a job.
I've done a Tilly tidy deluxe today and now have almost £90 to go toward one of the goals I would like to achieve.
I'm going for a job a month, then if I achieve more I'll be very happy! Xx

Well, I've managed to do loads of things on my 'to do' list and even a few that weren't on the list! :j
    I've baked, cleaned, tidied.
Stripped, washed, dried, remade, (the bed, that is!)
Going to sort stuff out to be shredded!

Feeling poorly today! :( I think I've succumbed to the start of a cold. Having a rest day! :)
I have done another shift around of money though. I now have just over £100 in savings for my next project-the target is to complete it this month. :) ideally, I need another £100+, that said, I can make a start with the £100 I already have. :)
The thing with me is that I'm happy having a couple of projects on the go at any one time, whereas mr tc likes to just concentrate on one thing at a time. So he plods and takes ages coz he's a perfectionist... And he gets bored and I flit between a couple of projects and don't get bored but still manage to complete them. :)

I've decided to set a target for extra overpayments to the mortgage this year.
We already overpay automatically on the mortgage. This year I want to set a target to overpay an extra £3,000.
I have made a very small start tonight. I have paid off £20.00.

Cool! I've been following your thread for a while now :)

Silly question, how do you actually overpay the mortgage, can it be done online or do you need to call them?

Hi, thanks for dropping by.
I pay bills online through my online banking. I have a 'pay a bill' section. I just put the account details in and the name of the account. Once it is set up, online banking remembers it. So I just click on it and put in the amount I want to pay. It's really easy, if I can do it, anyone can do it! :)
The lowest overpayment I have made this way has been £1-I do try to pay off more than this, but it all helps. :)
