Lovely to see you again Tattycath! Hope all is well with you.
I'm with you on the house, I'd really like to make some inroads and get some deep cleaning done alongside the decluttering."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
:hello: jwil
I'm good thanks. Been working this morning. Just about to take some clean laundry away and put some of the children's belongings on their beds so they can sort it out when they get home!
Then I need to make serious efforts to decluttering the lounge.
I still haven't written a to do list either!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Amazingly! Mission accomplished regarding de cluttering and tidying the lounge. Well, as far as I can until we get some old furniture taken out and new furniture in. I'm optimistic that will be achieved today/tomorrow!
It's nice to be able to utilise all the seats as opposed to some of them having stuff on them that doesn't belong there!
To do list partially written.
I've already done some work today and taken DD2 to work. Now I'm having a cuppa.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Operation lounge is really coming on now. Now I'm doing it, I know it needs decorating...but it will have to wait as there are other more pressing jobs that need doing.

How are you getting on tattycath?
Hi jwil, sorry I've not posted sooner. Hope you've had/are having a great Christmas!
Work has been so busy, what with the Christmas rush and everything!
I did manage to sort out the pantry. It looks so much better.
I paid off the catalogue-in full, before Christmas-and resisted the urge to order all sorts of stuff for the kids for Christmas. So now it's either we can afford something or we save for it.
I have reinstated various pots for saving different denominations of money.
Just got to formulate an action plan for January to grow the business now.
It was back to work today and tomorrow, then off for a few days and back to it properly next week.
I have managed to do some Tilly tidies, I have been trying to persuade Mr tattycath, he does seem sold on the idea but never quite gets round to it. I managed to buy his main Christmas present with Tilly tidies! :T
I went onto the thread for what I'd like to achieve in 2014 and I have to say I did manage to achieve nearly half of the things I set out to do.
I have stopped smoking -end of feb/beginning of March.
I got my passport
I even decluttered...but then recluttered.
In a vain attempt to redeem myself I did get rid of loads of stuff yesterday to charity.
Savings didn't go to plan-so I need to redouble my efforts next year.
I still need to lose weight.
Operation DIY is currently ongoing. Still got a mountain to climb with that, but we are just concentrating on one job at a time. Noticed yesterday that some of the seals on the windows are no more so I need to find out whether they can be resealed or whether I need new windows-on top of everything else that needs doing!
I think that's enough to be going on with...
I also need to give myself a kick up the backside to go back to drs to see if he can address my erratic hormone levels! Sometimes I'm great but then I seem to have major meltdowns for no apparent reason!
Right, off to drink my cuppa!GE 36 *MFD may 2043
