I think ( though I could be totally wrong ) there is a first direct account where you save £300 a month and get 6% ... Best check that out though

Thanks El. I'll have a look around next time I'm in town and see what the local banks are offering too. :)
Well, I'm up-not exactly bright and early but I am up. Got a couple of items to post out today. :)
Must get some listings up today too.

    So plan of attack is:
photograph a few items to sell.
    Pack and post ebay sales
Edit photos and get listings up.
Take some stuff to charity shop
    Change bedding
    get some washing done.

    First I need a cuppa and a shower. :)

In a vain attempt to save any money I get, I have set up 3 sealed money pots.
Pot 1 is for holiday with mainly notes in
Pot 2 is for 50ps, 20ps and the occasional £1 and £2 coin as and when I have them
    Pot 3 is for everything else-10ps, 5ps, 2ps and 1ps.-shrapnel pot; :)
Needless to say the shrapnel pot is heavier than the other pots, however, the holiday pot is probably winning on value of content.
Mr tc has told me he has money put by for the holiday so I am hoping I can pay mine off the mortgage (or put towards the bathroom) :D
I'm a bit torn really. Mr tc wants us to concentrate on bathroom, kitchen and other odd jobs that need doing around the house, but my focus is to get the mortgage down .....decisions, decisions...

Last night managed to make up a new flat packed wardrobe and had a major move around of furniture upstairs. :D
Sales very slow on the decluttering on eb@y front :(
Working all weekend-change around of hours as opposed to overtime. :(
Got my bank statement and although I paid money into ISA on last day of the last tax year, it's showing as being paid in on the 8th  I'm hoping it's because I paid it in at 2345 on the friday night-as it showed straight away on internet banking-but i don't know. If anyone has any ideas-can put my mind at rest etc. Thanks :)
