Hi all, advice needed,

I received a parking fine from VCS a few months ago for being parked behind stapels on their loading bay area for a couple minutes and after reading this forum decided to ignore the fine. However, today I have received letter from Roxburghe dept collection agency saying if I don't pay they are passing my details to a solicitor called Graham White.
The detail they have about the location is wrong, not sure what to do or if this makes a difference. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Makes no difference, part of the same scam and good indication you are nearing the end of the begging letters.
You should read ALL the stickies carefully on the parking board
    Be happy...;)
  • So even though it is now with a dept collection company I should ignore this too?

    a) It's not a fine
    b) Having read the forum, as you say, you will know that debt collectors are just the next step in the intimidation chain. You will also know that they have no powers, and are not anything to worry about. Just keep on ignoring.

Oh, and Graham White and Roxburghe are one and the same organisation. When the one is passing your details to the other, what they mean is passing it to the person on the next desk. It's laughable. Roxburghe were recently banned from accessing details from the DVLA database for Gross Misconduct. Says all you really need to know about them.

You should just be playing snap with each letter (Roxburghe and Graham White) which matches the letter chains thread:

Just relax and match each letter.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

VCS won't be going near court for a while.

Total loss to the landowner for parking in loading bay (assuming by parking there that you didn't prevent a delivery lorry for making a delivery and charging the store for a failed delivery) would be zero.

There next installment will come in handy for emergency toilet paper if you are unfortunate to run out, its not a soft as andrex but just about dose the job :D :money:
PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue.
  • They're a joke. I got the first letter in big red letters threatening me with this and that unless I paid, so I asked for details of the alleged breach however they have refused to provide any details unless I tell them who was driving.

They tried beating me with the Norwich Pharmacal Principle until I pointed out it doesn't apply to small claims cases...

They then pointed out that I have a 'Positive obligation to engage in frank, open and honest dialogue'....errr! Don't think so !!

The latest letter states that they will give all the information required to the driver, if the driver come forward however in the meantime they will continue to 'request' driver details from me ....

And .... Would you believe they are refusing to engage in any further correspondence with me unless I tell them who the driver was!!!!

Does that mean no Christmas card???

There were no deliveries been blocked. The warden ran from her car to put the ticket on and ignored the taxi parked there. I run over and moved the car before she could put the ticket on.
  • Received some fresh toilet paper, this time from Graham White.
    Hopefully they'll stop begging soon.
