Hello all!
Back from my holidayHad a fabulous time - maybe I should go away more often as there seems to have been a major rush of BFPs in my absence! :T massive congrats to all! xxx
I seem to be allergic to something I've come into contact with....am covered head to toe in hivesSoooooo itchy, painful and ugly looking. Had a bath in oilatum plus and had to take a fexofenadine strong antihistamine. Not ideal as I'm in the 2ww but its been unbearable and I need it to clear before I go back to work as im itching like ive got fleas and as it looks horrendous!
Sorry for all those going through tough times. Particularly Part Mouse. Big hugs for you Hun xxx
Thanks to Mrs TM for doing a wonderful job with the lists as always. You are a star! :T good luck with your weightloss!
As from me....we are now at 1 year TTC. Boo to a rubbish anniversaryGoing to try to go to my doctors tomorrow to get progressing to more tests. Can also hopefully get something for my hives as I'm in agony!
This month I've ignored my cycle and tried to 'relax'. It has made the 2ww less hard but I have no idea if/when I ovulated so no idea if/when the witch is due!based on my average cycles she should arrive on Sunday so I'll test on Monday if not shown up by then. I did do a test today before I took antihistamines just in case but unsurprisingly it was a bfn.
Anyway, look forward to catching up with everyone properly soon xxxx0 -

Morning ladies!
It's Friday! Woo! :j
I spent most of yesterday cooking and portioning out meals for the next few days. We currently have 32 portions of meals and 9 smoothie mixes between the fridge and freezer. Hopefully this will help me to eat less and still be satisfied.
Here is what 4 hours of work gave me:
Small fridge:
Top and middle shelves of freezer:
Middle shelf and bottom basket:
There are 4 extra containers behind the ones you can see on the middle shelf. In our main fridge (too cluttered to take a pic) we have 4 cooked beef burgers, 2 containers of cooked chipolatas, and 1 container of cooked pork and apple sausages.
There is another row of containers full of mushrooms behind the stuff in the little fridge, plus the yoghurts on the bottom. There are tiny containers of grapes behind the broccoli stalks in there too for snacks.
Ended up using 14kW hours of electricity yesterday (including showers) because our cooker is electric, but I'll be saving around 4kW hours of electricity per day that I don't cook. We have 8 days worth of meals at the moment (lunch and dinner for the two of us), so for using an extra 4kW hours yesterday, I can save 32kW hours!
I'm hoping that I'll be able to do this at least once per week. I'd like to cook and portion everything for the month, but our freezer isn't big enough!
Oh, and something else that is completely awesome. Since I'm actually portioning out the meals instead of just cooking and scooping, we should only spend £50-60 on groceries for the month instead of £100+. :j
Sorry about the long post, I'm just excited about having homemade 'ready meals' at hand now.
ETA: Forgot to say, the unlabeled container in the little fridge is homemade salted butter. We have a container of homemade unsalted butter in the main fridge too. I'm planning on whipping the unsalted butter with a bit of oil to make a 'soft from the fridge' spread later.0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
oooh lots of BFP's - congratulations everyone
Im back from a lovely 2 week break - and we were away at the right time of the month. Just waiting now to see whether or not cycle 4 of clomid has worked.
In any event, we're offer to the specialist next week so will have some help.
x0 -
Massive congratulations to Goppers, Kalama and Carmilla xxxx

Hugs to part mouse re the follies.
