My appointment today did not go very well.

According to the nurse my FSH levels are very high which means that I may not be realising an egg at all even if i am having regular cycles.

But the results were from day 21 blood tests so she gave me new blood tests to be done on day 2 for the next cycle. I was also given slips for an ultrasound and a HSG tests. Now waiting for next cycle to get all these tests done next appointment with fertility doctor in October. Also getting an AMH test done but outside private hospital as NHS does not do it.

Gelly - very sorry to hear about your dad

Loveactually - hugs for bad results. Perhaps it's just an unusual cycle, we all have a weird one every now and then, fingers crossed it is.

Just been to WW, I lost 3 1/2 lbs this week which means my BMI is 30.4. I know the criteria is 30 or under do I should be well under by the time we get an IVF referral if it comes to that.

Gelly, sorry about your dad. I get what you're saying. My dad has really deteriorated in the last year and I don't know how much longer we'll have with him.

Saw the GP again today and the progesterone isn't a good thing. Either I didn't ovulate, or worse, I did and the egg wasn't good enough. So he did CD2 bloods and is referring me...somewhere. He mumbled a lot. He did say there are ways to make me ovulate so it's not all bad.
