Do any of you use an app on your phone to track everything? I use period log but just wondering if there are any better ones?

I use Fertility Friend on my phone.

I've not been temping since I ovulated this cycle though as I know we didn't BD at the right time so there's no point really, just waiting for AF now.

I use "my days" and period tracker on mine, the first one I find easier to track.
Still no ovulation for me but could have been during the bleed fest when we didn't bd. Think af is not far away, got the weird cm I usually get a few days before, just want it to get here now so I can start again with the monitor. Bought one from ebay that was stated as 4 years old..will still work accurately though won't it?

I have signed up for the free version of fertility friend but my! I find it complicated, maybe take a while to get used to it

Morning all - hugs to those who need them and lots of baby dust to everybody.

You can tell it's holiday season, it's very quiet on here at the moment isn't it.

Having had 2 very short cycles in a row (15 and 21 days), I seem to be having the "perfect" cycle now....had two strong lines on the OPK this morning and a peak on the CBFM - currently on CD13 so it suggests I should ovulate today or tomorrow.

Would love it if this shows I'm back to a more normal cycle -whatever normal is these days.

Have had a rough past week - Dad has now been diagnosed with end stage kidney failure and because he's already got heart failure, he's not suitable for a transplant or dialysis so has been given about a year. Was incredibly emotional about it last week but now we have to face the facts and make the most of our time together.

Live your lives to the full ladies - they are far too short.

Let's hope August is a bumper month like July - what a cracker it was.

I tried the fertility friend app too complicated the last time i used it.
I dont keep a record of temps so maybe thats why.

This will be my 4th cycle after my MC, but I wanted to ask when do you BD? When I get the positive ovpk i BD that day & maybe the day or 2 after. Should I BD more? I know there is no definite answer but I always thought the positive ovpk meant i had or was ovulating at that time.

I'm still in the game, today is 16dpo, so testing tomorrow morning. Is that too early? lol. I even bought myself a cb digi at asda this morning to use after a cheapie - £7.50 for 1 or 2 for £8. I won't need 2, but it seemed silly not to buy the twin pack :rotfl:.

Tia - thanks for replying about the exercise. Most things I'm reading say do what you did before just don't take up anything new and/or extreme. I'm not using machine to put pressure across my abdomen so I'll carry out for now. I'm prob got a bfn anyway :rotfl:

Credit crunch - Hope this cycle is your lucky one I use fertility friend too on my phone, although I mostly use the ie version as I'm often at the pc and find it better to be able to see more on the screen, lol

Samtoby - You're lucky - I always seem to get spots and generally have pretty crappy skin. I get spots around OV and again around AF. Hope they'll get better for you soon.

Angeltreats - At least a break from temping gives you some relaxing time….. My FF often moves my OV when I carrying on temping, but that's probably just me, as my cycles are usually all over the place and it's never quite sure what to do with my data :rotfl:

Without a paddle - FF is really good and takes no time at all to pick up. You basically really only need the chart page

We try to start BD'ing about 5-7 days before I think I will ov. Just once every other day. I think it's better to start early than start after OV, as the sperm will live for at least a few days waiting for the egg. I'm also never quite sure exactly when I'll OV, so I like to start earlier. Mind you, it doesn't always quite work to plan Temping is a bit of a pain, but it does help me pin point OV, and then when I know I've def OV'd, we can "rest" :rotfl:
