    Morning everyone.

I was having a good morning until I decided to check facebook. Turns out my BIL has decided that they want a kid. Ugh. We haven't told either side of the family that we are trying, but now it's going to feel like a race to get there first. Why must things be so difficult and make us feel like utter poo?

Please can you remove me from the lists? We've decided to take a step back from ttc, and just let nature take it's course. We're having too much fun as a couple at the moment and as I'm only 27 I think we can leave it for a year or so.

    Morning all

    Huge congrats ttc39 :j.

Hope you all had a nice weekend. My highlight was getting my monster truck cleaned ready for selling. Such an exciting life...:D

We had some bad news as well - my SIL was rushed into surgery as she had an ectopic pregnancy. She's back at home now but in a lot of pain.

I see the world's media is having a collective meltdown over the fact that Kate has gone into labour. That poor girl - knowing a good proportion of the world is obsessed with her gynaecological status.

Ooh - the weekly post has just turned up, bringing my rather gorgeous new shoes!

Hugs to those who need them xx

Congrats :D. Hope they cheer you up after your unpleasant experience at the weekend xx

I am now wearing them in the office, despite the fact coral wedges really don't go with my grey pencil skirt, black vest top and grey cardigan :rotfl:

OH just came to see - they make me very nearly as tall as him (6'4"). Excellent!

Oh - and just had a pregnancy announcement from one of my assistants. Complete surprise - they weren't trying and she was on contraception. This will be #3 for them. So that means that two out of the three assistants are pregnant. Can't wait to tell the new manager that when he arrives next week....

Right - I admit it - I downloaded it yesterday.... Started reading it - its actually a book which is leaving me feel positive (especially for us over 35s;))
A lot of the advice you know already but doesn't help to have it reinforced. Put it this way - Im reducing caffeine from today and upping my vitamin c intake!!!

I downloaded and finished it this weekend too and did find it overwhelmingly positive - will thank my friend! x

Congratulations on those who have received new shoes...

Mrs TM - urgh how annoying. I always keep quiet about ttc, and just know that my brother who is getting married soon will probably be announcing that him and his wife will be having a baby not long after. Put on a restricted list on facebook for now perhaps??

Miskate - enjoy having fun as a couple, and hope things work out when you return to ttc.

Kalama - hope your SIL is recovering ok. Sounds like there is something in the water at your office. P.S you are very tall!!! I'm jealous!!

Am fed up with the royal baby news....do we all really need a minute by minute account?!

Think today could be CD1....though not really enough yet to say for sure.
First day of the holidays so had a nice long lie in. Have told myself to try and get all my work done this week so it doesn't hang over me but so far am not feeling the motivation...maybe tomorrow!

Thanks Tia - and dodgy hugs for CD1. Just read my post back and realised it makes it sound like I am 6'4" - I'm not! I am 6'2" with the shoes on (OH calls it "pretending to be tall"), 5'9" in my socks.

I'm quite enjoying the royal baby coverage - it's nice to see so much of home. I suppose I'm not getting the wall to wall coverage you must be there though!
