BFN this morning
I was totally expecting to see two little lines after my bit of brown spotting ~4 days ago (perfectly timed for implantation bleeding). And I've gone off both tea and alcohol which is unusual for me... especially the tea :P
Ahh well. AF isn't here yet, and my OH thinks I'm ovulating a later than I think I am, so I may be more like 12-13dpo. So there's still a chance, albeit rather a slim one.Mortgage when started: £330,995

Sorry for the BFN Lannie and for others on CD1 x
Just been reading this:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2361112/Mayonnaise-miracle-babies-150-IVF-attempts-controversial-egg-yolk-oil-jabs-theyre-mums-last.html
Pseudo-science bunkum? I'm not sure calling people "immune to pregnancy" is helpful either.0 -
And as usual when there is any article about ivf, there's a comment calling people doing ivf selfish and "why don't you adopt?". Well, I'll tell you why we don't adopt. Because it's not the 1950s and unmarried mothers don't put their babies up for adoption anymore. So you only really have kids from troubled backgrounds. And because the adoption process takes years and you get disqualified for things like credit card debt, or owning a staffie, or for wanting to go back to work, or for any mental health issues, or if someone you know or are related to has a criminal record, or if you're older you'll only be allowed an older child, whereas if you have the ability to have a baby naturally, you can have all the above things and drug/drink problems and it doesn't matter. That's why.
Honestly, some people make me so angry!!!Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Why do I read comments in the daily mail??? It's not as if I didn't know what was coming.
Apparently IVF is 'selfish'. Of course, it's just so much fun to spend all your money on madness-inducing hormones to give you a tiny shot at something everyone else takes for granted :mad:0 -
Code - yes, the comments have been the most interesting thing to read actually - in good ways and bad ways x.0
