As it is now the 4th I am actually CD 29* not the 50 stated on the 3rd! I did post quite a while back that I had a cycle that started on the 6th of June, I know I should have put CD so my fault I am guessing. My longest cycle so far was 28 days. I have had cramps for a few days now so thought the witch was on her way but so far nothing. If witch doesn't turn up by Monday will test then. Still not got much hope as this is cycle 13 since trying.

*that is if I wake and still nothing.

    Sorry! Fixed it for you.

I hope that everyone is having and will have a wonderful day! :)

Nothing much here ttc wise. I'm in love with the new carpet cleaner though. DH texted me to see how I was getting along with it. I texted back: "It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!" (Despicable Me reference for anyone who hasn't seen the movie). The funk and hairballs that it was pulling up from the carpet was disgusting, but also amazing! And the carpet is no longer matted down from years of use, it looks and feels like actual carpet again! :D

The sewing machine is being delivered today (supposedly between 1 & 2). I'm trying to get the washing up and laundry finished before it gets here. The backs of my thighs are aching due to bending over so much going around all of the edges of the carpet and the stairs with the wand thing.

Morning all, hope you're well and looking forward to the sunny spell coming up. We had some gorgeous new garden sofas delivered yesterday and I can't wait to put them to good use this weekend with a Pimms in one hand and a book in the other!

Good luck to everyone having tests coming up - ladies and gents!

Did the market research last week on pregancy test sticks - was an interesting one to say the least but pulled on some heart strings for most of the ladies there. Was interesting for me though as I thought I was "normal" for temping, charting, using CBFM, etc as we are officially TTC but when we all talked openly about it at the research, it makes me think I'm now a bit of a loon  as none of the others do - they just DTD and hope then test if they're late....

So with that in mind, I know I'm in good company with you all on our TTC journeys.

AFM - I'm currently CD7 - AF arrived last Friday on CD28 so another month of being "normal" rather than my 15 day cycles at the beginning of the year.

Half joked with hubby last night that we should make this month count by not running out of steam a couple of days too early - so my strategic planning is about to come in to effect :rotfl:

    Happy Thursday all.
    Love Gelly

    Hello all.

Hugs to all having a tough time at the mo.

Sorry had a lot to deal with/think about last couple of days. My AF was due yesterday and didn't turn up so took pg test this morning and am 1-2 weeks pg apparently. I am shocked, upset and worried due to job situ, typical it has happened all at once this month.

Oh blondy - please try not to worry too much but massive congratulations on the BFP. :j

I totally appreciate that the timing might not be as good as it was but a couple of weeks ago, you were applying for another job, have you heard anything from that (sorry if I've missed your update).

These things often happen for a reason and end up being for the better. I really hope your current company can find a role for you so you have continuation of service and don't have to start all over again with a new company.

BUT the main thing to remember is you now need to look after you and the little bean that's stuck - wishing you love, luck and much happiness

Would you like to be added to the July bfp list?

Congrats blondy! Be happy! I know that job situation isn't the best but trust me just appreciate being pregnant and happy right now! X

Just got a positive opk which I'm really happy about as its my due date today so it's helped a bit. I didn't pee on the cb stick today as I was convinced it would just be another high! As last month I got a positive opk on an evening but no peak on the Cbfm Til the next day so I'm gonna pee on a stick in a bit & see what it says. Wonder what it would have said this morning now!

Congrats Blondy, honestly the work thing will work out for the best one way or another but try not to worry - the main thing is you're pregnant, how fantastic! Best wishes for nine boring months.

Claire - BIG BIG hugs for your due date xxx

hmm just peed on a clear blue and its still saying high! Cant believe it as when I pulled the stick out the line that measures LH is pretty strong so its obviously not quite sensitive enough.

so were going to bd later, but probably wouldn't have and would have left it until tomorrow if I hadn't used the cheapy opk too.

I think the cheap ones measure 30ml and the clear blue 40, but youd think as the line is showing on the clear blue stick it would have said peak.

I was only peeing on it to get a peak showing at me so don't think Ill waste one peeing on it tomorrow now.

DH is away from Friday evening so we will bd tonight and tomorrow morning and just have to hope I ovulate tomorrow and not Saturday as we cant bd again til Sunday. (unless I drive to see him but options would be my car or a shared tent he's staying in both in broad day light so not really an option!)

    Thanks angel treats xx

Congrats Blondy!!! Fabulous news although clearly you have a lot going on to deal with as well. I know it's really early but you may want to mention you are pregant to your work's HR team as soon as possible - in my experience, they are super cautious about making pregnant people redundant for fear of discrimination claims and so may be more likely to find you something suitable. Worth a try?

Claire - hugs for you, must be tough, especially with the vagaries of OPKs etc! Hope you are ok x
