Currently ttc#1 having been married 14mths
Copper coil removed 14th may and currently on cd5 of 2nd cycle trying.

Didn't really try properly last month so bought some conceive plus this mth and want to give it a proper go...

Friend married after us recently announced they are 15wks and felt really jealous, haven't ever felt like that before!

Claire - I hate not having proper internet.

Glad I didn't put my update in pink because it looks like no ov yet. To take my mind off it I've ordered some pink and turquoise hair dye so I can have colourful hair.

I've been lurking for a while......reading this thread has already been a great help so id love to join you.

I came off the pill in April and am getting blood tests mid July for suspected PCOS. I'd like to join the lists but don't really know where I am, so I'll hang fire until AF.

Congratulations Faithhope, I'm so very jealous right now and hope you have a lovely 9 months.

AFM - I've had bad AF pains for the last two days but no sign of the witch yet. I was really hoping that this month would be it but even though I'm disheartened I won't rule it out until the witch arrives. Knicker watch is on.

Hi lolly, hope you are well. I do know how you feel! Had implant removed Jan 2012 been trying ever since and since then both my sister and brother had announced and had their babies. I did get a case of the green eyes especially as they both insisted they never wanted kids and neither were planned. Loving my little newphews though.

loulou - I went to the Drs last week as I'm now 60 days without AF visiting and all he could say was that I had to wait. He couldnt tell me precisely what I had to wait for, just that I had to! Its the thyroid thing again! Specialist on Monday so we will see what he says.

Lou Lou I hope the dr can give you something to start AF for you long cycles are so annoying.

Faith hope Congrats!

AFM- no chance of me going anywhere soon- I've been here on and off for a couple of years.... My IVF appointment was today. They're delaying my treatment as my prolactin was raised too high. I have to go for an head MRI to make sure I don't have a prolactinoma (benign pituitary tumour). Burst out laughing at the consultant when she said there was only a 'small chance'- yeah, like the two of us being (in various doctors words) 'genetically very rare' (me) or 'a freak of nature' (OH- poor sod). I see your statistics consultant lady and I LAUGH IN THE FACE OF THEM. On the bright side depending on whatever it is I get to take either hormones or have a lovely bout of radiotherapy....

On the bright side I managed to lose 7 pounds since Saturday so they couldn't shout at me for my BMI as I just squeaked it into 29 (on their chart). Did get told to be less of a porker though. OH got told to stop exercising- she has a hunch that men who over exercise (he works out 5/6 times a week and is a personal trainer) are more prone to fertility problems like elite atheletes are. OH is not happy as that's basically his only coping strategy at the moment.

Skint. I've been prescribed anti-depressants since April. My GP put me on fluoxetine (20mg) which he said was fine whilst TTC (the IVF clinic have agreed that too) and has referred me to talking therapies. I've also been seeing the IVF counsellor. If you're feeling down go and speak to your GP. It's hellish trying to cope by yourself. I know someone was being helpful posting a daily mail link but personally I wouldn't believe anything in that rag- pretty much all of their articles waffle on about how various things give you cancer e.g. too much tea gives you cancer/ too little tea gives you cancer etc.

CONGRATULATIONS Becca and Faithhope! Great news And Becca I hope the bleeding stops and is nothing - could it be old blood?

AFM, I have loads of EWCM - so much I could share it with you lovely ladies lol ewwwwww! - so am hoping to DTD in a mo when we go to bed and that will be twice this cycle, we usually don;t manage much more than that so fingers crossed.

I thought I should go on the list?

Tea - yes I think I should get some pills. I am so down. I kept hoping that I might get PG quick and that would help but actually I am going to be so scared and freaked out if I get PG that I probably needs pills anyway.

I am trying to keep going though - spent most of today cleaning floors on my hands and knees for a lady in my church who has cancer (probably terminal) and cannot do it herself any more. Just need to do my own now! (Although mine are positively gleaming compared to how hers were - terracotta tiles that were actually black! Yuck.)
