Sorry, I hadn't even read back before posting that horrible self-indulgent whinge. Linz, congrats, so pleased for you. Getting engaged is exciting! Details please x

I might just say sod it to doing any work today and sit with a bottle of gin and a box of malteasers instead.

Do it! I need some company in the 'comfort-eating and not getting any work done' room. I'm technically at work but there's only me in and my only achievement for the day so far has been eating half a packet of biscuits.

So that's one of my best friends, my sister in law and about twenty (not exaggerating) other friends and acquaintances from facebook, all in the same week, and one of them immediately after we'd spend twenty minutes at the doctor's talking about why we might not be pregnant yet.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. SIL due next month, best friend pregnant with her second child on the first try (let alone first month, again). Sometimes the world seems like a really unfair place.

As I've said before though, at least we can drink gin and they can't :rotfl:

    Congratulations Linz!

Have decided to really focus on shifting some weight and stop faffing as I think it will really help re conception. Have been quite scared about the scales,, not weighed for 3 months and feeling soooo fat I thought I was at least 13 stone, but turns out I am 12st 6lb so feel like I have lost half a stone already. :rotfl:

Have decided to do this 5:2 fasting thing, starting today. Got some no-cal pasta to try, will probably be gross lol.

becca - I'm glad it's not just me! I'm having a complete panic this morning as I feel like I don't know how to do anything. Seems like no matter how much I think I've picked up, there's just loads of the job I haven't got a clue about. So instead of doing something useful like a) working through my list and doing the things I can do, b) speaking to my boss who's lovely and helpful... I'm doing c) having a small panic attack and trying to eat my way out of it. :o

I've got 8 cases to work on today, normally by this time I'd have got through at least two and probably three, but I've done nothing at all so far.

Shame we don't live close, we could have all skived off to the pub :)

Aargh, I really shouldn't be at work. I've just sent an email which should have had the words "if you pop it over sometime next week" in it. What I actually sent was "poo it over sometime next week":rotfl::eek:
