Morning everyone. Halfway through the week (completely ignoring the fact that this means it's a week until we have to say goodbye to the monster).

It's really interesting seeing what everyone does. I'm an analyst, but am currently doing a degree so I can retrain as a teacher when I get back to the UK.

PommeVerte - nurses rock. My mum is a nurse (she runs an acute medical unit), and I know what a hard job it can be. I have huge respect for nurses.

ttc39 - yay for the test results and for feeling more positive. Hope you have a fabulous holiday :D

catloverbex - it will be interesting to see how you get on with the 5:2 diet. I know quite a few people who are doing it and who are steadily shedding the lbs. One of the main things they have noticed is that they generally feel much less hungry, even on non-fasting days.

twigpig - well done on the exercise (that workout is a killer). I started my workout plan on Monday - alternating cardio with weights/toning stuff. I have to weigh in weekly so it will be interesting to see what happens on Friday!

sjlou - hugs for the stealth pregnancy announcements. My mum told me about one of her closest friend's daughter who has just announced she is 4 months pregnant. You could almost hear the undercurrent of "hurry up already so I can say the same".

loulou123 - :T for the weight loss. I'm determined that I will also be able to say similar soon!

claire16c - what an odd thing to do (copying your post like that). Wonder if they will come back....

Faithhope & Kynthia - I LOVE camping in France. There are amazing campsites all down the coast, and the mobile homes are great. It's what we will be doing when we move back to the UK - great holidays to have as a group (BBQs on the beach :D)

Elsie - big hugs for CD1. Sending virtual chocolate your way.

It's 17 degrees today and I am freezing. How am I going to cope this winter....:o

I feel awful this morning. It must be the hormones left over from the trigger :(

If you get pregnant you've got weeks of feeling like that :rotfl: I remember when I couldn't even go up 2 flights of stairs at work I had to take the lift, pregnancy does weird things! So I hope you'll be lucky & feeling suitably awful in a couple of weeks! Maybe the shot will do its magic!

    Congratulations Mrsbunny :)

    Elsie - hugs for cd1

Maybe we should all try the Jeremy Kyle plan? Though I don't actually own a tracksuit so does that rule me out?!

I just saw something that made me annoyed, was looking out the window and my neighbour walked past with her weeks old baby in a sling on her front, the baby was f facing her and she had a cigarette in her mouth blowing smoke straight into the babies face.

Now I'm not anti smoking - I've smoked on and off since a teenager, given up now as ttc. But to blow the smoke all over the baby is digusting.

For my job I work in a care home for dementia patients.

I think the thing that's annoying me is that I feel like this for no reason. There's no way I could be pg yet but my head is pounding, have nausea, boobs are killing me and I just generally feel like Kak. If I feel this in a few weeks ill be very grateful but not today!!!

    That's disgusting.

They've made it illegal to smoke in places like pubs - surely it should be illegal to inflict smoking on kids (who have no effing choice in the matter)?

I'll get off my soapbox now :o. I'm not anti-smoking (what people do with their own health is up to them), but it really gets to me when people smoke around kids.
