Sorry I haven't posted much lately, still sick with the plague (read cold.. I'm SUCH a man about illness).

I used to be a programmer too (c# for codemonkey :p), but got made redundant in 2008 and now do customer services. Can't seem to get back into IT so am doing a course in accountancy and bookkeeping. I am a very anxious person and find it hard at a lot of work places to fit in, my current job might suck but I do at least have a laugh.

Can I be marked as 2DPO I got a postitive OPK on Saturday AND Sunday... So I'm thinking Sunday must have been it. We have DTD for 4 nights in a row and will try again tonight, OH is.. struggling with that, says he feels his age!! (Bless the man for trying though)

Are you sure it isn't brazil nuts that he should be taking? It's the selenium that's needed and brazil nuts are the highest natural source whereas walnuts don't even have a fraction of the amount brazils nuts have. You even have to be careful on how many you eat as you can get selenium toxicity from eating too many.

I'm a Management Accountant which although I don't love in the way that people in a vocation love their jobs, but I do enjoy being a qualified professional and doing reasonably well in my career. However the stress has been really bad for the last 18 months and recently I've even felt it's been so bad it's affecting my fertility.

I think its the fatty acids. But I have read about selenium too. Perhaps Ill get DH to eat a brazil nut or too as well. Oh dear! :rotfl:

Yeah stress is not good. I used to be really stressed in my old job. I still have stress now but its normally more short lived.

Big temp drop this morning so af will no doubt be here later.

One more cycle before fs appointment. The way I feel right now - I can't be bothered anymore. Sure I'll feel differently in a couple of days xx

PS Yes I'm a teacher. Interesting to see what everyone else does!

    Morning everyone :)

Twigpig - well done on the MSE exercise regime!

Linz - when I came off the pill my cycles were everywhere even after a year. I then had the mirena put in for 6 months and after that was taken out in early September my cycles have been 26-30.

Lemon - aw you're getting a pup too!

Pomme - hope your OPK's arrived - still haven't ordered mine....

Jojo - hope your mission BD works for you this month.

TTC - great news on your results - pleased you are now getting progress. Have a great holiday - chances are now you have the answers and an appt and you are on holiday you never know what may happen!

Claire - it costs a fortune this TTC! I must have a look at these new clearblue sticks....are they like a hybrid between the standard OPK and the CBFM? My DP takes the conceptcare (sp) for him.

    Slinky - dont worry :)

Faith - hope the 2ww goes quick for you

Partmouse - hugs xxxx thinking of you

Becca - great lists again thank you. It is pretty worrying when the experts don't know the basics!

    Tia - dont worry :)

    Tinks - :)

Jammy - great timing by the witch - hope you weren't caught out

Elsie - hugs if AF arrives - think positive that if the witch does arrive you are seeing the FS very soon - it will work for you x

Catlover - hope the migraine has done one!

    Code - :T:j for EWCM!

Pickle - 2 ww for you - fingers crossed!

Sophiasmum - my doctor recommended every other day from CD10 and when you get a + on the OPK go every day until it fades

And as for me.....I am now CD4 and have taken 2 of the clomid so far....and (touchwood - never quite understood what that means but we all say it....) I am ok. Been bit hot at night but could be a mixture between it being in double figures and AF is here.

CD10 will be next monday so need to get on and order some more OPK and conceive plus as I've read that the pills can dry you out a little.

Hope you all have a good tuesday

    xxxx

    QUESTION:

    Conceive plus or Preseed?

I have used Preseed and funnily enough it didn't work first time like this magic miracle drug.....a bit like Claire's research into the CBFM....so I am thinking this time to give Conceive Plus a go. I understand the tablets can mess with the balances so I know a lot of ladies recommend a little outside help :)

I use conceive plus, tbh I doubt there is much difference between them. They are bloody expensive for what they are! *grumbles about people cashing in on our fears*

A bit like tampax! As if we have any choice but to keep control of the witch?!

In your experience, which did you prefer?
