Trying for a Baby Part 9

Ooh Birdie how exciting! Fingers crossed for you!! X
Hope everyone else is well. I've been lurking a little this week as trying to take my mind off the 2ww. Going sooooooooo slowly! Had some spotting this morning when I went for a wee. I'm only 5dpo so there is no point me trying to symptom spot and pin it on the elusive implantation bleeding as its just too early. Stupid body!
Anyway, I think I'm going to have a duvet sofa day today cos I'm shattered. Took the hubby and a mate to the pub last night. Silly old me offered to drive so I spent the night supping coke. By the time we got home at 1am, I was so buzzing with caffeine that I haven't slept a winksilly me! I did watch the notebook on sky demand tho. I love that film, makes me cry like a baby every time!
Claire - hope ur feeling ok after the news. I agree that it is just so unfair sometimes. My mate has a little girl and he told me last night that she was conceived on a one night stand with his ex girlfriend where they used a condom and it didn't split or have any issues. How is that even fair?!? Wish I was one of those stupidly fertile people!!
Code - well done on the 9 mile walk! That is seriously impressive and you definitely deserved a magnum to celebrate!
Part Mouse - how are you feeling today? I really hope that you are feeling better. I had to google ohss....if you have any doubts that you have it then get yourself to a&e and refuse to leave until you have seen a fertility/gynae specialist who sounds like he/she knows what they're talking about! X
Becca - hope you had a lovely anniversary weekend! Nice weather for it yesterdayExciting about the labradoodle!
Hope everyone has a great day and lots of luck and fingers crossed for anyone testing soon! xx0 -
Birdie do a test and update us!!!!!! Come onnnn!
Been woken up by someone elses screaming child... Delightful!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Argh, so I can't sleep after having a few drinkies but not enough to actually put me to sleep IYSWIM.
Seems to happen to me whenever I have more than just a couple of drinks; my body likes to punish me for indulging a little without getting totally smashed!
No spotting at all now so for some crazy reason I did a test when I gave up and got out of bed 10 mins ago and I've got the tiniest of tiniest if you squint you'll see it lines. Now I want to take some pills but can only find ibuprofen and don't want to take any just in case that line turns into something!
Gaaaaah it's going to be a long night!!!

Morning - well will be revisiting throughout day to see if Birdie updates!
I did a test Fri (CD28) = negative, not even a "squint if you see it line". Still no sign of AF so will retest tomorrow. Indulged in a few drinks on the weekend as it was bfnI just feel under such pressure to get pregnant quickly because of my age and in the past I was one of those annoying, oh I got accidently pregnant people. Guess my age will slow my fertility down plus I don't know where I am with my cycle since miscarrying.
Feeling sorry for myself today and theres not even any sun to cheer me up!0 -

Me too come on Birdie!
Oh no it's really sunny here were going for a walk & pub lunch, maybe it will come out later for you?
Are you using opks or anything to work out ov?0 -
I am going to have to I think Claire. I wasn't because previously I was like clock work on a 28 day cycle, ovulating about day 13, I could also tell from ewcm but didn't seem to be like this this month. So after retesting tomorrow Ill get some opks - would have been unheard of for me to go into a 31+ day cycle prior. I think I remember someone saying that their cycles were never the same again! Anyway - theres me moaning, and some people have really long cycles! Its just the thought of AF brings back memories of bleeding so I would much rather be pregnant! (Wouldn't we all!)
Your day sounds lovely - enjoy.0 -
Sorry to keep you all in suspense!
