Littleme: re clomid.
I had no symptoms what so ever and for me, it did the trick. I took it for 3 cycles and fell pregnant on 2 of them. I was very lucky and clearly I just needed a boost to sort out the luteal phase of my cycle. I don't think multiples on clomid is as common as you are lead to believe although obviously it does increase the chances.
I'm suprised you're not having any bloods though. How will they know if its working? :S
Thank you for your reply Lilymay
I'm really pleased it worked for you. Fingers crossed it does work for us too.
Apparently the consultant at my local hospital doesn't want bloods/scans etc for the first 3 months - guess its a suck it and see approach.
It will be after the 3 months that he then wants to see us to discuss further options - we can pay to be seen privately by him funnily enough....!
We are now on cycle 10 so Clomid starts on cycle 11. I did just have a week away where I did rebel....I refused to take my vitamins and ate and drunk lots and spent far too much time in the sun ! and I absolutely loved it
when you say you fell pregnant on 2 cycles....did you go to term? Sorry if its a personal question x0 -

Hugs for cd1 ladies, can I ask how did you find out about the cbfm trial?
Xx0 -
Part Mouse - I followed the link to the clearblue website from the first page of this thread and there was a pop up box asking if you'd be interested in a trial. HTH.
Sympathies to all the CD1s.
Becca, have a wonderful anniversary..0 -

Littleme: I was given 6 cycles of clomid, only stuck it out to do 5 cycles, as the migraines I was getting were just putting me off too much. I got pregnant (after 2.5yrs) on the 2nd cycle off clomid. I saw the FS this week (7wks pg) and she said that it can have a cumulative affect and affect your cycles for 6 months after stopping it. So if you come to the end of that treatment and it hasn't worked, don't despair that it never will, iyswim? Hth"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0

Just ordered by cbfm sticks. Lets hope it works! Worked with my daughter & that was with my husband working away Mon - Fri, so everything crossed though cycles seem to be getting longer month by month
I mentioned my need to lose weight to the GP I saw on wednesday for my anti-depressants, but she didn't suggest I could get a referral to SW. Maybe next time I'm there I'll ask.

Do you think I can call in sick with PMS? Cause all I want to do is curl into a ball and cry til my face hurts.
I watched a documentary about a woman who got off killing her husband by using pmt as her defence. So Maybe male bosses should be careful and offer us days off!0 -

No, first cycle was Jan this year and didn't work. 2nd cycle was Feb and It worked but i m/c at 6 weeks. Then I took it again during my m/c bleed and it worked again and am currently 10 weeks.
Never needed any sort of assistance before this and had conceived 3 times before, 2 of which went to term.
I think if clomid is what you need, it generally has a very good success rate14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

I was reading the crazy posts on b&b and came across it, so I do have something to thank that website for! Then I came on here & told everyone, they must have had an increase in web traffic that day lol! It's on the front page.
I'd actually like to buy one now as although I've been damn lucky in that I've actually had a normal cycle whilst on the trial I like the fact it can tell me peak in the morning, although to be fair I knew it was coming from ewcm but nice to confirm. I've been doing opks to compare and today is my strongest peak on the cbfm and the strongest opk positive - which may be just due to me doing the previous 2 days opks at bad times & drinking way too much beforehand so it's not necessarily a true result but just from looking at the lines on the cbfm sticks I can see the LH line wasn't as strong on the first peak - and yesterday's opk wasn't quite positive looking enough for my liking, so in some ways it was giving me more notice.0
