Trying for a Baby Part 9

Morning = hangover! Im getting too old for this! But was a fab party. Had a few hours sleep and now the day stretches ahead.... to include my sons friends birthday party.
Did end up telling someone about my mc last night as she kept pushing me about having another baby "Always thought you would have 3" and ended up upsetting me - but that was only a little blip in the whole evening.
Well - hopefully should start seeing some signs of ov this week but for now I think Ill have another cup of coffee.

Claire good luck with your test results. When I phoned for mine, the Dr had already interpreted them so she just read out his comments and I then made an appt to see him.

Negative again today with FMU. And I feel normal - ie like I've had a period, which is worrying. I'm not to stressed now, just really confused. Might make a GP appointment and maybe get them to do a blood test.

The cramps last week maybe were late ovulation? Who knows. Not me for sure!

Witch has arrived, pah! She really managed to get my hopes up with the long cycle, the cow! Oh we'll, I think I'd been expecting it after the bfn.

However, it does mean I've just set up the cbfm. Hopefully it can deliver me a valentines baby!

Oh and I'm on the wine when we go for lunch at the parentals later on. :beer:

Sophiasmum nothing like a bit of alcohol to make you too say something you wish you hadn't. I do hate it when people are soo nosy. I mean, really it's not of your business!! I'm always tempted to tell then that "I'm barren and looking for a surrogate, are you interested?" if they're too nosy!! Would love to see them squirm! Never been brave enough to say it yet though!

My friend has just past her due date (her baby died at 22 weeks, very severely disabled ) and she had really bad week thinking of what should have been. Be good to yourself and have a good cry. Then starting thinking onwards and upwards.

Ok a wee confession to cheer everyone up. I have just attempted to bleach my hair (I should know better by now). It's orange. Like the inside of a jaffa cake.

Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone. I can normally pull myself together just finding it really hard this weekend because of the mc but also I think the pmt hormones are pushing me over the edge as I just want to burst into tears at everything. So I just want to get AF over & done with.

Sjlou that's so sad for your friend. My friend lost hers at 22 weeks as well last year it's terrible. I'm so sorry your cycle dragged out when I saw you had posted I thought ooh maybe she got a bfp!

I've read all the clear blue monitor instructions now actually quite looking forward to using it, were going on holiday to Devon with my parents in two weeks though so thank goodness the place has two seperate bathrooms as I'm gonna be bringing all those sticks & my pee cup lol!!

Code I love the Jaffa cake! I made the millionaires shortbread yesterday & took it to some friends last night & it went down a treat, it's so easy to make, so I think me & DH will be finishing the tub of that today! I only need to put on 3lbs to be a 'normal' BMi so I can shut up any potential comments from the drs about that so I figure why not eat as much carp as possible it's a great excuse! (Although I am getting slightly worried about my arteries clogging up with the levels of chocolate & ice cream ive been eating so trying to eat stuff like peanut butter, avocados etc with 'good' fats in too!)

Sophia's mum - I was saying to DH yesterday about how before we started ttc I never realised how quite how upsetting it can be it to ask people when they were going to have a baby, not that I ever did actually as I did think it was prying a bit & so wouldn't have, but now I realise just how rude it can be. He said some people at his work often ask him as not everyone knows what happened & depending on who they are, like if he thinks they're being rude/nosy he says 'yes actually we lost a baby at 12 weeks last year,' and then it soon shuts them up. I said well at least they'll think twice about asking anyone else the same thing & potentially upsetting someone!

Lovely & sunny today which is cheering me up a bit.
