Becca - how is your new place after your move? I don't know what you scan results mean but I'm hoping the smiley means it's good news, so I'm pleased for you.

Bigzippy - well done on the weight loss! I find it so hard to control my weight and really hate myself at times for my lack of self control and my love of treats, but I bet that's the same as many women. I hope your hubbie's okay.

Not been a great weekend for me, although the GP visit went well. My horrible virus has meant I layed around bored for two days so far, have a temp of 37.1 which is mucking up my chart, no baby dancing even though I'm now CD13, and missing the best weather we've had so far this year. Also I usually get a high reading on my CBFM from CD11 but I only got it today, so I'm not sure how else this cycle will be affected. :(

Plus I forced myself to keep an eye test booking I had and I've been told I need glasses! As my parents never needed any till their 50's I really didn't see this coming (if you'll pardon the pun ;) )
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

    Morning everyone -

I'm thinking of buying a clear blue fertility monitor, but unsure as I have pcos (looked online and theirs conflicting opinions on whether they work on pcos sufferers.) Also recently my cycles have become more irregular so not sure if that'll make a difference...

Would a 2nd hand one off eBay be ok or should I just buy from amazon?

Sorry for all the questions, just figure that some of you ladies must use it.

Hope everyone's having a good Monday?

I have thought about getting one but I never have because I have irregular cycles I was worried the sticks would cost me a fortune so I use opks. I think it says something on the box about don't get if your cycles are over a certain length - but not sure what applies if you Sometimes have normal length & sometimes don't!
  • Hi ladies, somewhat indirectly related to TTC...

I've decided to start a blog to try and get all this stuff out of my head but am genuinely rubbish with technology/ internets.... does anyone out there know of a good guide on how to manage a blog/ write articles/ get it recognised on google searches etc. It's on the blogger platform if that is any use...

    I've been Money Tipped!
Loulou I have pcos and a cbfm and I find it a bit hit and miss. Opks do the trick.

Claire she said we have a chance of 3 popping, one has started to leak which she said means will ovulate soon? Today!

Becca what on earth are you doing on the internet? go and find that partner of yours and get him to do His Duty!!!! :D

CBFM- if you look at their literature it says it's not recommended for PCOS so i've never even looked at it twice. if OPKs work fine then maybe give it a shot with a cheap one? at least you know they have resale value.

aww Kynthia, i don't mean to be patronising but really, there's nothing wrong with glasses! especially considering there's the option of contacts. i've been wearing glasses since i was 6 or 7 and my eyesight is so poor i can see further than an inch or two in front of my face clearly. tried contacts like a billion times (ever the optimist) but as my eyesight is so bad and i have astigmatism i have to get the gas permeable ones and they're just too much like hard work

never have i wanted my period more, i'd love it to come early so that i can have as much of it as possible now, don't really want to be on when i'll be trekking for miles in Manhattan. she must be coming soon at least, the ladies are so sore i nearly cried when i ran down the stairs earlier x

    Yay beeca, how exciting. Twins??

I am NOT having a good lp so far. My kajungas hurt majorly. As in a dull ache if I so much as move and as for touching them, ouch. DH gave me bear hug yesterday and that made me cry out. I'm only 5dpo so I know it's not a pg symptom so its not even an "ooh my kajungas hurt, that's a symptom and therefore exciting", more "how annoying, please stop now. Grrr".

I am using CBFM this month, brought a 2nd hand one off eBay for £36 and ordered sticks from Amazon. Says you can use up to a 40 day cycle.

My cycles are between 25-30 days.

Should get my money back when I sell it!

Have had highs on it last 3 days, not sure I will see a peak this month as its still learning my body.

I have also been using EPO this month to increase my CM (it does work for me) and think its gonna give me a slightly earlier ovulation too but thats good as means I can get in BD with OH before his kids arrive as it always works out I will ovulate when they are here!

Also taking B vitamin complex to see if it increases my LP as its 12 days which is ok I now but would be nice if I can get it longer!

    afternoon ladies

sorry to hear about your news tea :grouphug:
hope the move went well becca

I had a bad day on Saturday, although all seems a bit silly now! Went shopping to get something clothes for our trip away this coming week and had a mini melt down in the changing rooms! You know the type "everything looks carp, and I look fat in everything...blah blah..."

Had a bit of a cry about it back home to my hubby too.
I guess I've put on about a 1/1.5 stone in the last 3 years, its just kind of sneaked on.
I don't mid looking pregnant if I am actually pregnant!

I think AF has done something to me this month! My moods are all over the place

Feeling a bit better about it today. Think this is a bit of a wake up call and I know I need to start eating healthier and trying to do some exercise.
 Mini me due March 2014
