Congrats to those who have got a positive. Hope you have a smooth pregnancy.
Sorry to those the witch got.
Those going through a bad time I really hope things pick up.
AFM I have been lurking around this thread. Just wanted to try and step back a bit to see if it helped me stress less. It did but not much to be honest. TTC is on my mind a lot if I don't post, if I do, if I don't see post relating to it for days etc. Probably not helped by watching the baby season on BBC3 and CH4 OBEMetc.
I was due on today but nothing so far at all. Yesterday my OH said something that made me cry and it shouldn't so I think AF is on her way anyway, just going to be a little late I think as I do get emotional before AF. If AF isn't here by Wednesday I will test. Can I have a test date of Wednesday 27th put up please?

Fannyanna, you've done one better than me, I've never had a positive opk!
Samtoby, allegedly dtd in the morning is better - something to do with his swimmers, rather than timing to do with us ladies, but can't remember exactly what now...
Congratulations Vic"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

I mentioned in my post that I was too old for NHS help at 35. But that's because my PCT is really ungenerous with their IVF funding. The NICE guidelines are that everyone is offered up to three rounds of IVF up to the age of 39, soon to be amended to 42 I believe. (You have to fulfil other criteria, e.g. have no children already).
But they're only guidelines and you need to check with your trust as to what their rules are."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Huge Congrats VIC . xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIf you can think it........it will happen0

I have no kids at all. When i was 17 i wanted 15 but now i just want 1. Ty fluffnutter for the info
Im so confused by ff this time it keeps changing my ov day. First day it said id ov we dtd on the right days now that its changed it weve missed it by 2 days as took 2 days off due to uni projects grrrrr
Do i think im out completly or hope one swimmer got through or is there no chance?
Thanks0 -
Grrrr... OH doesn't want to talk about it yet. He's waiting until AF is here which isn't the best idea he's ever had- double reminder of how rubbish we are by being on AF and talking about IVF.... Men. AF due between now and Wednesday depending on whether FF or Duo is right... FF has ov as 10/03 and Duo as 12/03.
Goodvibes is clomid still an option for you with OH poor SA results? His andrology consultant told us it was utterly pointless to give me clomid as even though I don't necessarily ovulate all the time 'the odds were slim' that we would conceive without help because of the poor SA results. Then, confusingly, he said that we shouldn't stop trying as it *could* happen as it only takes one- give me the sodding tablets then!!!
Code good news that your OH has finally agreed to help. My OH was at another surgery but he moved to mine for our referral/ tests. We asked my doctor what was easiest. He said that it was slightly easier for us to be at the same surgery but only if OH wasn't jeopardising a really good doctor/ patient relationship... I suppose it's whatever works easiest for you both.
Congrats on the TLP Kscarlet.
Atton It only takes one good sperm and depending on where you read it they can live up to 7 days inside you (they sort of 'power down' until they sniff out egg...) so you're not out until you're out. Sadly there's no way of knowing yet but fingers crossed for you.0 -

Not sure if we could do it in the morning it would have to be so early unless it was a Sunday. Hmmmmm.
I feel I am worrying too much; not about the becoming pregnant but morning sickness! I had it terrible with my son who is now nearly 9. But I was 18 then and I wonder if it was too with my age although I am sure its more to do with the chemicals. I know they say that no pregnancy is the same and morning sickness is a good sign but the last time I was pregnant (I lost this baby at 12 weeks 1 day before my scanin february 2011)
I am sure I have read things about diet etc. I must not worry about this yet. I just have all the memories of 2011 in my mind all the time and it has taken me this long to get the whole experience something I can talk about. People have said some heartless things in the past such as - 'it was just cells'. People just do not understand. I think the first 12 weeks if I do fall will be a real strain on me.
Anyway onwards and upwards I am due on the 3rd so here goes on whether AF turns up3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:
