Big hugs TCD, that must have come as an awful shock. :( Take some time to think it over and don't make any rash decisions at this point. Sorry you're going though so much rubbish right now. :(

Sorry to hear you're taking some time off Lara. :( It probably is for the best although it's such a shame to have to delay it for 6 months. I'm sure that once you've completed the phd and all the stress is gone your body will be the perfect environment for a baby and you'll get PG straight away! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Thanks Birdie, I hope so. My best friend just had a little daughter yesterday - so cute! I'm so eager to join the club, as we all are here. I hope we get a huge run of BFPs in March - yours too Birdie!!

I would like to come and join the club. We have decided no time is the best time to try so we are now trying and see what happens. I believe I was due to ovulate yesterday so I am due on the 3rd April. Here is hoping

    Just a flying visit ......

    Huge hugs to TCD xx

I'd be interested to see where the cheapest CBFM sticks are as well - I got mine from Amazon as they were the cheapest I could find and hassle free delivery. Got them delivered to work and thankfully they came in the usual Amazon packaging so nobody could see!!!

OH didn't get the job :-( but it sounded like a bit of a nightmare job so ATM we aren't sure whether to be upset or relieved. Back on the hunt again ...

    SBD to all xx

Hi I am still here, just lurking. Sorry I've not been around for long, but we took a month out off ttc, and all ttc related stuff. But will be back to it next month with a vengence.

Not 100% sure where i am in my cycle at the moment but think AF is due any time (typical as off on a proper long holiday tomorrow- first one in a years).
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

    morning ladies,

had a lovely weekend away with oh, was nice to get away and actually spend some quality together without the pressure of trying to BD because we "had to"!!

Af has disappeared (cd8), I'm feeling refreshed and now happily awaiting ov.
Oh has agreed that he needs to cut down on his caffeine/alcohol now we're back off hol. So fingers crossed we'll be in a good place when I do ov this month.

Hugs to all you ladies who have had a tough week so far.

Vesper! How are you? I'm guessing if you're back to ttc everything went ok for you with the legal stuff? If so that's brilliant! Hope you have a nice holiday.

Hello tinkwings - I remember you from when I was on the pregnancy board 2+ years ago - is that right?

Welcome samtoby! I hope all goes well for you.

Thanks for the feedback on cbfm - I'm hoping for a peak soon. I've never had any blood tests yet, but if I have 2 more cycles without peaks, I'll go to see the GP. I get sticks on Amazon on subscribe and save which seems the cheapest I can find.

CD14 for me today. My DH is working late tonight but I'm hoping he will be home in time to DTD - trying to keep doing it every other day. Still 'high' fertility on the CBFM - if my fertility was really as high as it says, I'd have twins by now.

I'm trying this 'sperm meets egg' plan I found on the internet for those who are interested. This is the plan:
Buy 10 ovulation predictor kit sticks
Begin ovulation testing on Day 10
When test is positive, "try" that night, plus two additional nights in a row
Skip one night, then do one last "try"
Take a home pregnancy test 15 days after your ovulation test was positive, if your period has not begun
If your ovulation test never goes positive, continue "trying" every other night until Day 35, then do a pregnancy test if your period has not begun.
Statistics coming in from women who write me show that about 40% of post-miscarriage women will get pregnant on the first try if they are faithful to the plan, about double the number of the normal population who are not on the plan. This assumes, of course, that you waited for a normal cycle to begin after your loss, and did not begin trying before having a period after a miscarriage. Many women do not ovulate in that first cycle.

Hope that helps someone and baby dust to all!

    Love e
