Omg just did an opk and its almost positive!!! Gonna do one later tonight but so glad we bd last night. Gonna bd as much as poss now. I've hardly got any cm though so might need to get out the conceive plus for the first time. I thought I saw ewcm 2 days ago but wasn't sure if it was just left overs. Perhaps it wasn't.

Weirdly, I had much less ewcm this month too.

So either 7 or 10 dpo today. No idea.

    Hugs for CD1 firefly.

    Dear all,

Please can I come out of lurking and join in? I am 34 and have been TTC number 2 for a year now. We conceived our first little boy on the first cycle and I assumed it would be the same this time, but sadly not.

My cycles have been irregular and long and each month it means I have been hoping for a BFP but it hasn't come.

This is my second month using the CBFM. Last month I had highs all month - I understand that this is quite common for the first month. HOWEVER, I am currently CD12 and have had highs every day again so far. Has anyone else heard of this happening? Will I get a peak this month? I'm a bit fed up with it... I've started using normal OPK sticks as well off and on and actually looking at the CBFM sticks to see what the LH level is. I'm planning to just carry on with using the CBFM this month and DTD every other day.

    Any advice?

    Lots of love, ejecoms

    Welcome to the thread ejecoms:wave:.

Hope your stay here is short and sweet. Sorry I don't use a CBFM but I am sure someone who does will be along shortly.

Weird isn't it. I normally get it plus lots of cm but not much this month. So just took some more gross cough syrup & trying to drink water. Hidden the pack with the giggling baby on the front of the conceive plus as I guess that could be a bit weird if DH sees that later on! He said earlier 'you got it all last night don't think I've got anything left' I said well you better get making some then! :rotfl:

I've spent about twenty mins staring at the opk like I'm afraid the line is going to disappear.

A couple of days ago we were shopping & I said to DH can you get some broccoli -he said we ate that last week did you read in a magazine it's good for the sperm or something? He said its hilarious anything I give him more than once he is suspicious of lol!

The baby on the conceive plus is the most off-putting thing ever. I know I want one, but don't want a baby staring at me while we're doing what we need to do to conceive one. Hardly discrete. I binned that as soon as it arrived.

Welcome ejecoms  I'll be interested to hear how you get on with cbfm as we've been considering one today but thinking we'll try another month with cheap opks

I also had much less ewcm this month!!? I'm thinking of trying grapefruit juice next month if no bfp. I've been taking epo for ages now (started taking it for hormone balance in the lead up to af before ttc but also read that it's good for ewcm) but I read some research today that says it's perhaps not good when pregnant so may stop taking it for a couple of months?

    Hugs for cd1 firefly

Hugs loulou and sapphire for confusing cycles, very frustrating

Afm - cd17 and at the start of 2ww...I think :o

    Absolutely brilliant news T2D!! :D

For the first time in history DH and I have managed to dtd on the last 3 days running, corresponding with my (alleged) most fertile days on Fertility Friend.

Probably my luck that I havent ov'd this month!! Cycles have been getting a bit more back to normal (for me) so I'm hoping so. I know I should have probably POAS to see if I've ov'd but I dont think I can bear to look for fear of disappointment. I'll just wait and see... :o

DH is currently engrossed in his playstation - I dont think theres any chance I can persuade him for a 4th night!! :rotfl:

Yeah I think ill bin the box too. The white tube is far less conspicuous.

I saw my friends 5 month old today. Cutest thing ever. Made me really really want a baby even more!
