3 days at Cliveden, (5 star stately home with spa, dinner etc,) with the Times when I hadn't been comping that long :)
ETA - There was also the Centreparcs break when I took daughter and adored ones, (There were only 2 then, but daughter was rather round!) They still talk about it now and want me to win another!
Week skiing in Norway last year. Was for a specific date, so sadly Mr GB couldn't get time off, so our grown-up son was delighted to come along.
Weekend in the Cotswolds, (B&B with dinner 1 night,) also last year which was great as it's not too far from us (and close to our adored ones ;) !) We took it near our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed our "Us time" in the madness of last year.
And my most recent one, a 4 night trip to L.A. with ITV which we're taking this coming October :)
Not a bad haul at all when you see it written down :)
Worse things will have happened in the world today...

I won a Northern lights cruise to Norway and a holiday to Tokyo although after the earthquake/tsunami happened and our flights were cancelled we were lucky that the company allowed us to choose another holiday. We ended up going to San Francisco and had an amazing time (apart from the fiasco that happened afterwards but when we were there it was great!). Also won a holiday to Lanzarote which I couldn't go on as had to be a specific date and had just booked a holiday to Tokyo for the same dates a week before!

Also won a 5 star spa weekend in London with champagne afternoon tea which was nice :)
    2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

I've never won a holiday comp but tbh I tend to steer clear of entering them, as 99% of the time they are either for a family of four (we have three kids) or for a couple (couldn't leave kids and go away on our own!) Very very rare are the holiday comps for the so-called "larger family" so I just don't bother!
  • I won flights to Jamaica in Dec 2012, just deciding when to go! Only started comping in July 12!
    TOTAL 2013 £3100
    TOTAL 2014 £1250

TOTAL 2015: £500 winning:2 tkts to theatre, Cap1 Footie, weeks holiday in lakes.

    Amazing wins all, WD!
I'm still waiting on a holiday win, does anyone have any holiday comp tips? Ie, how have most won, were they mostly effort entries?
    Thanks!
  • I won a weekend in a Best Western in Oldham after comping for a month or so. Want one abroad though.

I use Prize finder I'm just wondering what everyone thinks of it?

Some lovely wins here - I've never won a holiday (or anything 'big') so would love to.

Hope your luck brushes off on me and well done all who have won.:)

I won a weekend in Paris (originally for 2 people but we persuaded them to add an extra person). We were all still in holiday mode because we'd just come back from Italy.

I don't know how I entered, but somehow, they had my email so it must have been through a form and one of the requirements must have been to follow via Twitter because while I was checking if it was legit, I saw that I followed them. I forgot I had entered to be honest and I didn't believe it when I got the email.

I would love to win a holiday to the US.

I am trying soooo hard to win a holiday this year, we are getting married in November so a honeymoon would be such an amazing luxury! :D

I won a holiday 4 years ago, a midweek break to .... PONTINS and it was the worst place I have ever been! We ended up packing our bags and leaving after 2 days as my 3 year old son was covered in flea bites and the chalet was infested with ants, on complaining I was told all accommodation had the same problem
So we ended up at Blackpool for 2 nights and it cost us a fortune, not very MSE :rotfl:
