I have won a weekend away, in the UK, nothing abroad, yet...

WOn a ski holiday to Formigal a couple of years ago, hadn't even started comping, just entered on off chance from the San Miguel website!

I won a honeymoon to Sri Lanka in 2007, which was the first big thing I ever won, we had an amazing hotel and 1st class flights. This started me off comping regularly.

The 2nd holiday, I won was a holiday to Antigua, which was lovely not as good as the first, for this we had to pay for our own flights, but great.

Both name on a postcard entry.

I won the McDonald's "Great Tastes Of America" competition that was posted on here about 3 years ago. We ended up going to the USA for 3 weeks, visiting NY, San Fran, Yosemite Nat. Park (amazing) and Las Vegas.
I've also won a couple of P&O ferry trips. Bilbao in 2009 (never again, good job it was free) and a crossing to Rotterdam/Amsterdam last year. I also won £500 with Pepsi as we were organising it, so that paid for our hotel & spends.
It's DH's 40th this year, so I'd like to win another little trip away, you never know.

I've not been lucky enough to win a holiday yet but it's top of my wishlist. I have won flights and me and DH are off to Munich next month for a weekend, can't wait!!

I've been lucky enough to win two:

A week in the Mediterranean.
An all-inclusive week in Antigua.

Nothing oversea YET, but hopefully the comping fairy is on it and will be surprising me with an all-expenses family trip to Disneyworld Florida soon.

But in the meantime:

1. An overnight stay in Gulliver's World, where my kids got to have breakfast with the Zingzillas and watch them in a show

2. An overnight stay in London, including attending a premiere of a movie, cable car ride etc (still to take)

3. An overnight stay in Birmingham (5 miles away from home ) with tickets to Girls Aloud

We go next week.....2 weeks in Orlando, premium econ flights, car hire, 4 bed villa with pool heat, disney tickets, universal tickets, seaworld. busch garden tickets and a private vip tour of Kennedy by a space shuttle pilot and a moon astronaut who was also capcon for the 1st moon landing...awesome!

Holidays and short breaks seems to be the thing I win most (not that often though!!) In 2 years of comping I've won 4 overnight stays in London (one with theatre tickets, spending money and travel), two nights in a suite in Manchester, a night in Harrogate and a night in Birmingham.

I've also won a trip to Lapland which we took in November and was amazing!! 4 nights plus spending money and we had a fabulous time visiting Santa (my 3 year old daughter loved the reindeer!). And we've just booked a trip to Disneyland Paris which I won at the end of last year and we're going on in September.

I feel ever so lucky to have had so many fab breaks away through this amazing hobby! Best of luck to all for 2013 x
