Who's all won a holiday?

Just curious to find out who amongst us have all won a holiday. That is my dream prize and I enter every holiday comp from a trip to the Bahamas to a wet weekend in Blackpool (obviously the first being the preferred option!)
So if you have won a holiday where was it to and how long were you comping till you got lucky?

I don't enter holiday comps, I get homesick when I leave our Postcode My Daughter does and she has won a trip to New York, one to Memphis, both already taken and in May she's off to Grenada. She enters very few comps, but has been incredibly lucky.

Edit to add, I forgot that she also won a Business Class break to Geneva which she took last year.

I won one to Jordan last year through Lonely Planet, and I'd been comping for just about a year when I won it. It's really spoiled me now, as I really want to win another one!

I won a weekend in Brussels after comping for about 2 months!

My aim is to win a holiday as well.

Think I would love it more than a cash win as with cash i would have a sensible head and pay the bills, save etc.

With a holiday win, you have to use it and enjoy it.

I won a weekend in Cardiff with one night in a hotel- not sure if that counts as we stayed with my dad for another to make it a proper weekend

Great selection there; gives me hope that I may get my elusive holiday win! Tend to agree with you Boat Girl, sensible head would come on with a cash win, where as a holiday is there for the enjoyment

I've won two via comping.
Five nights in NY with $1000 in SAKS vouchers,a carriage ride & a posh meal.
I was not a user of MSE at the time & only entered about fifty per week as I'd not heard of Roboform :-)

Seven nights in Vancouver with about £800 of excursions.

This was in 2010 & I had been comping a couple of years & I was entering thousands per year,in fact that year it was about 22,000 entries

There have been lots of holiday winners amongst us!

I won a holiday to Oz last year. Had been comping seriously for about a year and a half (i think.)

Hoping to win my holiday for this year too. I can't even imagine paying for one anymore lol.

I've won 5 holidays in total. The first was two weeks in Orlando but that was 16 years ago, around a year later I won a week in Berne, Switzerland. I gave up comping for a good few years (kids, marriage, divorce & re-marriage lol) but then I started properly again around 18 months ago and I've won 3 holidays in that time - I won my wedding in the Bahamas, a week in South Africa and a week in the Cayman Islands.

I'm sure a lot of people will wonder how I've managed to win so many but to be honest I only enter comps for holidays or cash as that's all I want to win really - and I tend to go for ones that involve a bit of effort, one was a radio win, one was a voting comp, one was with TAB, and one was a slogan. The only one which was a random draw was the South Africa one.

I haven't won any big holidays, but last year I won 4 hotel trips. (That was my first year of comping).

1. A weekend in Scotland (with dinner)
2. A weekend in the Cotswalds (with spa treatments and dinner)
3. A night in London (with dinner and theatre)
4. 4 nights in Lincolnshire

They were all absolutely FAB! I would love to win an oversea's holiday though! Fingers crossed for this year.
