Contract through third party, - advisable??

I've seen some great contract deals through buymobiles.net and affordablemobiles.com. My contract with Vodafone has expired, I told them about the deal I've seen and they have said that they can't match it.

They said they can't match any online deals from third parties, - but warned me that should I go with one of those, I won't be able to talk directly to the network provider, I'll have to go to "buymobiles.net" or whoever.

Is this advisable? Or is their customer service SOOO bad it's worth paying the extra to go straight to Vodafone or Orange etc?

Thanks

load of crap i get my contracts through p4u after your connected you always deal with the network fro problems billing etc-only if it was a handset fault would u talk to the orginial seller
    What goes around-comes around
  • Similar question here. Out of contract with 3, they can't offer me anything like the deals I can find online (including deals on contract with 3 which are a third cheaper than going direct) with buymobilephones.net and affordablemobiles.net. But there is a deal through p4u on orange that is in between what 3 can offer direct and the online retailers can give me. Do I play safe and go to p4u?

What do you mean by 'safe'? I would just go for the best deal. And don't forget about TCB/quidco.

Probably means signing up to somewhere, having his bank debited, then having to wait three weeks for a phone which should've arrived the next day, - then, countless emails and phone calls later, - along comes his brand new phone complete with finger prints and scratches.
I've never used quidco before, - dont know a lot about it, - if it means i'll save yet more money i'll look straight into
    cheers :)

Check TopCashBack first. They are slightly better.

    Thanks.

What if BOTH quidco and topcashback has tracked my visit to a single merchant? I'm presuming I wont get paid twice...?
