That's amazing! didn't think they were still made? presumably made in very limited numbers, but seems a great price, tempted myself at that price, just wonder what it is like on fuel?
The factory closed down over 30 years ago. Apparently there were plans in 2008 to start up making them again but not sure if they have done that yet. Their website says that they haven't yet http://delorean.com/sales/0 -

Pretty cheap on fuel, so long as you nip past 1986 on your way back from work to fill up
Me, I'd buy an older Boxster, pocket the change and have a cool second car for years to come.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
