Thinking of getting handset from 3, I suspect it will be locked to 3.
Do they come with plenty of bloatware?
Will they unlock the handset (with payment of course) .
TIA

There wasn't anything on the iPhone I have with Three, but that's maybe not too much help if you're looking at getting a non iPhone with them.

Unlocking was easily done, for a payment of about £15. Again this may be specific to the iPhone and different for other handsets.

It's the Xperia Z I am after, was the £15 via 3? I am going o pop to the store to look at one in the flesh, so I guess I can ask them whilst I'm there.

Yes directly with 3 for the official Apple unlock. I did it right at the start of my contract too so I don't think there are any restrictions to unlocking whilst under contract.

I bought mine directly from Apple, and put a 3UK SIM in it - I can then stay with tem for as long or as little as I want. I do have to pay up front, but I'd rather do this than have my choice restricted later.
