Thomas Cook Delay: 26th Aug - 24 hours. Advice and support needed

Hi there

I have recently just came across this forum and wanted to post my story to see what people think are my chances.

On the 26th August 2012, we were due to go on our Holiday to Florida. We arrived at the airport, checked in on time then waited.... and waited...

Turns out our flight had "Technical Issues" which emant it was unable to arrive in Glasgwo from Manchester to allow us to head on our holiday.

We were told after a 14 hour wait that our flight was to be rescheduled the next day, leaving us delayed over 24 hours. We were put in a lovely hotel and a basic meal was provided.

After finding this forum, i decided to send the letters and wait on a response. What has been everyones experience on TC? I realise its not going to be easy!
