Interest free credit cards.

I currently have a bank credit card with an 18% APR and would like to balance transfer to a 0% card with another provider. The problem I have is that the amount I want to transfer is £6000. When i apply for a new card will a new provider allow me to transfer over the full £6000? Any advice is greatly appreciated as money matter confuse the hell out of me.

It depends on the credit limit they give you. May be more or less than 6k, depending the risk they view you as.
  • Thank you for your reply, how would i know what the credit limit is? or is it a case of when i apply i will find out?

You'll only find out when accepted (or not).

and don't reject an offer if the limit is less than 6000
something at 0% is a lot better than nothing at 0%

No more complicated than paying a gas bill, an electricity bill, a water bill, a council tax bill, a phone bill, and a broadband bill every month.
