i have had a look at the break down,boiler cost is 787,std replacement charges 1666,customisation 410,flush and frost protection 623£

Thanks all,had 2 local engineers visit today one wants to install combi,other one heat only
Main gripe I have is with British gas despite having electrical cover as well they haven't sorted even hot water thru cylinder,had 2different guys from bg,one electrician,other gas engineer both passing the buck around

Is it possible to have the case removed and to take a pic of the source of the leak?

If you don't mind me asking, how much were the other quotes?

Have you looked at the Vaillant and Worcester web sites for an approved installer? If you use one of them you will get a 7 year warranty (10 years on the heat exchanger).
