Is it right to Moan about Charity shop prices.

I used to volunteer for BHF a couple of years ago in the Hertfordshire area (won't specify exactly where) I worked back of house so sorting out the bags and pricing, we were told to look through a bag, if we didnt find anything within the first 3 items as a leading brand (eg Monsoon, M&S, Next etc - there was lists on the wall of what counted) we were to throw the whole bag into the skip,
Each day I had to mark up used, extremly dated clothes for £25+ if it was Monsoon or £8+ for Next purely based on the label, each day the staff were told to look around the shop before opening and anything with a date of more than a week ago on the tag was to be taken out to the skip - excluding leading brands.
Before I worked here I often gave high quality donations not always top brand names but apparently BHF only goes on brand names rather than re-selling goods for a low price to be used again.
As some of the previous posts have stated this charity shop also had a 'glass display'cabinet for top brands and would charge around £200+ for a used Fendi bag - which of course never sold.
I left after a couple of months working in the summer but was a real eye opener!!0
