You sound quite wound up here.

    Projection, again.

Because you get wound up you perceive others doing the same.
I noticed when we proved you were a liar on the amazon thread you disappeared off sulking for a week

You proved nothing of the sort. All you proved was that some people had seen a confirmation screen - others say they hadn't. And, anyway, my point on that thread was that there should be a confirmation screen, I was not insisting there wasn't. It's indicative of your desperation that you should start throwing around accusations of lying when it would be utterly absurd for anyone to try and lie as the evidence was, apparently, available for all to see,
You take things too personally you want to relax a bit.

Again, more projection. Because you take things very personally you assume everyone else is doing the same.

A lot of charity shops that I go into employ both elderly people and people with varying degrees of learning difficulties.I don't expect they would know that Atmosphere was Primark and their Monsoons from their B & M s.
They have massive amounts of stock passing through their doors every day and it has to be cleaned, priced, sorted, stored.Should we insist they are only employing fashion experts ?. I think everyone complaining who thinks themselves a pricing expert should g o and do some voluntary work in them, then see how hard these shops work.

Maybe the people you mention wouldn't know their Atmosphere was Primark and their Monsoons from their B & M s but I would expect the manager of the shop to certainly recognise brands that popular - and to price goods accordingly.

I don't think anyone on this thread has said that the volunteers don't work hard.

I don't see myself as a 'pricing expert' but I do notice when a clearly second-hand Primark vest that cost £2.00 new is priced at £1.99.

And I also notice when one shop has a M&S top priced at £5.99 and a different shop a few doors down has the same top for £3.00.

Projection is a fascinating human characteristic.

Thank you for putting a name to something I have noticed goater do a lot. When he gets into one of his mega-arguments he frequently complains that whoever he's arguing with is off topic and being insulting when he is doing EXACTLY that himself. He's done it in this very thread! Then he runs off whining to the mods who wisely ignored his little tantrum.

The Managers may have to delegate this, or a well meaning person might price it, without any authority from the Manager.
Yes, you know it, I know it, but some volunteers don't know it.

There is also the other side of 'ridiculous' pricing. I have a friend who often checks out charity shops and on more than one occasion he's found a premium brand item of clothing that has not even been worn for the 'standard' price of that particular shop. In one case he was over the moon at getting a brand new Yves St Laurant shirt for £2.99.

I really don't think you have a point with that comment.WHAT DO THINK THEY SHOULD DO, confer with their neighbours for every single item they price?!!

You've come on this thread for the sole point of arguing with me. Not commenting on the topic at hand. And you say I'm taking our previous disputes personally? If you weren't bothered why come on here and post? There must be some sort of simmering resentment :)

You say that but as usual give it a couple of days and your posts will be deleted. They always are! The board admins are too busy to delete your posts straight away!

    No.

I was reading the thread and noticed your quite breathtaking hypocrisy in pointing out that someone appeared to be thanking people who disagreed with you when you have been doing exactly that for months.

If you can make off topic posts accusing others of mounting a vendetta why do you think that no one should point out your hypocrisy in doing that very thing yourself?

Moglex: When did he say he reported you? If the admins act it's usually within twelve hours.

Yesterday evening I think. The mods won't do anything as he was being at least as rude and off topic as anyone else. It's just the way he always behaves. If he feels threatened he starts attacking and throwing around accusations with no regard for their truthfulness or accuracy. Sad little man.
