Do you interview your friends on the consistent use of condoms unless actively trying for a baby and send them information packs on STDs if they don't comply? You've said your piece so either accept your friend for who they are warts and all, or decide what they are doing is morally wrong because the costs of far dodging are borne by more honest travellers, end the friendship and report them to the transport police.
... the forum police is telling me to shut up
nobody is forcing you to read my posts, if they bother you so much.
I've not actually 'said my piece', as on this thread I'm just asking for information.
As I work from home or use my car I don't actually know much about anything to do with public transport, so the information I've been given has been very interesting. Normally I can find just about anything on the internet, but it's hard when you are not at all familiar with the subject.
I doubt he'll carry on once he takes a look at the info I'm going to send him, so mission accomplished as far as this thread is concerned.0 -

I wouldn be surpised. I work in he rail industry and know poeple that carry out he roles you refer to. And in the tfl region too. I would b surprised if you have any basis for what youre saying tho.
And to thos who think that far dodgers put fares up, i wish you could see my revenue sheets i complete for rqil jobs. Mismanagement and paying people like me to do nothing for weeks at a time out fares up. Pays me bills tho.0 -

Aren't YOU trying to police a grown adult's behaviour with your do gooder, hand wringing information pack? Of course you could read what I actually posted BOTH options instead of the first half, police don't tend to give options.

end the friendship and report them to the transport police.
as i said before thats how most fare dodgers come to a grizzly end not by CCTV or barriers or sting operations etc etc. but by a simple phone call by an outraged friend/fellow passenger or family member to the btpFares Advisor & Oyster Specialist - Newdeal/ukRail Fares Workshop Accredited0 -

that's a bit OTT, I can't see why you feel the need to be rude and make this personal, sounds more like you have some issues around this topic, so I'll just ignore that part.
if this thread bothers you so much it's quite easy to just move on to something that you find more acceptable, and just ignore me.
anyhow, I'm just asking for factual information about a subject I'm not familiar with, I'm not looking for advice on how to conduct my interpersonal relationships, I've got my fellow do-gooders friends for that.
But thank you for the link, I had already seen into that website but I appreciate that you tried to help.0 -

What is a bit OTT? What bothers me in YOUR mind? What do YOU think is personal? Have you considered you are reading far too much into my posts, why is that?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
