- (VCOM) Web Easy Professional 6.0
and
- (Incomedia) Website X5
are both worth their weight in gold (play with the trials) - they are not as clever as Dreamweaver, but you don't need to have any html coding knowledge and can have a site up and running quickly. See what you think.0 -

The trial is good and think software only cost $40 - 20 quid.
Got me a working site that I can keep editing.0 -
Excellent, free website building software. Easy to get started or as complex as you want:

A cheap but paid for alternative
i used

For hosting for a small site I run - it's $11.40 for a year.
You can buy a domain name first for about £8 a year for .com or £3 a year for .co.uk
No adverts obviously comes at a small cost but for me they have been reliable more space than you will ever need and it's not massive amount of money0 -
sorry didn't say - if you do use those people - buy the domain first elsewhere and then transfer it (if that's not too complicated)
There are plenty of people doing cheap domains!0 -
It costs about £35 but mrsite.com is excellent. You can also buy it in pc world for £25 I think.
The money gives you your domain name, 12 months hosting and loads of templates etc.
I got one for Christmas and love it. After 12 months you have to pay a monthly fee but it is about £2/month.
Highly recommended !!Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0 -
