Haven't used it , but what about this :
http://www.download.com/Easy-Avi-DivX-Xvid-to-DVD-Burner/3000-2646_4-10668718.html0 -
Thanks for the link - will have a look
I would also like to find a decent one that:
a) Doesn't take 55 hours to encode
b) Has good playback picture (not fuzzy..etc)
c) Sound doesn't go out of synch
With Nero, the audio also gets knocked out of synch after about 30 mins of a video file :-(0 -
Converting - why ? Either download the files in the format you need or just buy a standalone divx player from 20 quid upwards0
-
best bet is a stanalone divx player as jampton says along with a dvd recorder. you could probably get bothe for less than a £100.
Unless you use decent software and have a fast pc with ,loads of ram hdd space etc its much easier and faster to use dvd recorder.0 -

The file I have is not available in any other format
and I don't have £20 to spare to buy a player."Gort, klaatu barada nikto"

Don't know why I didnt say that!
Got a SUPERB Samsung DivX all region player for 50 quid from amazon.
Can play 7 movies or 11 TV episodes off one burnt DVD r
picture quality is top notch as well.0 -
I use Avi-2-DVD to encode, then Nero to burn the image. Works a treat, no sound synch problems at all.0
-
Giving DVDFLICK a try now, currently encoding the video which should take about an hour and a half at the current rate.
Will post back results
