Freeview problems

For the last 3 or 4 weeks we have been having problems with reception on Freeview channels Film 4 (channel 29) and Bright ideas (channel 19)...this has now progreesed to ITV3 and a couple of music channels. At first it was sporadic but now it is all the time. Nothing has changed about our set up and we have been using Freeview for about 18 months with only minimal problems before this latest round of irritations. We have the correct aerial fitted, and we live in Warwickshire (postcode CV36 area).
Is any one else sufferring like this or does anyone have any ideas what may be the cause and if so what we can do?
Thanks for reading.

We're having a similar problems with ITV3. It shows as a channel with full signal strength, channel 40 (which is where it was originally) but no sound or picture.
This has only started happening recently and nothing has changed as far as we know.
Anyone?:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

I tried that and didn't get anywhere. It just gave me the same channels/problems. I'll have another go tonight and let you know.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

we have problems when it rains, our reception goes from perfect to just being able to watch the BBC channels. As we live in Manchester you can imagine what a pain this is!!
When I get the time, I'm going to fit a Televes - DAT45 Digital Wideband Tv Aerial and a 6 x Aerial Distribution Amplifier (Maplin) that will provide 12dc to the masthead amplifier and amplified signal to the three tv aerial sockets in my home.Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

Sorry - yes channel 10 to watch it, but UHF channel 40 (according to the info bit on the bottom of the screen near the signal strength).:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

With the current high pressure system currently stuck over the UK:cool:
- I guess it's quite possible that there's some co-channel interference going on
i've not heard of any others complaining as I'm out that business now but it could be the case.
If it is - there's nothing you can do until we get a change in the weather.0 -

Can anyone tell me please - when the analogue system is switched off will we get better reception than we currently get with Freeview - or will we always be at the mercy of sound disappearing (just when Hercule Poirot is about to name the murderer as a rule!) and picture freezing?People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

Just tried a rescan and still no ITV3
As for losing the analogue signal, we'll probably never have a solution to the problem of screen freezes, pixelation and loss of sound as and interference to the digital signal will cause problems.
I can't see any solution except to use a wired-digital signal of some description.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

No amp, communal aerial (don't ask) and I don't know about the neighbours.
I'll check tonight and let you know.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
