In today's sun there is a advert for a free family Odeon Family Cinema Tickets starting next Saturday. I think this will be a token collect again like the free Chessington tickets.

Hope this helps somebody.

Update - 04/02.

HERE'S another big reason to make you smile - an opportunity to take the family out for FREE to see one of four fantastic blockbusters at an ODEON cinema near you.

Choose from one of the following great films hitting the big screen this year:

Ice Age 4

Life of Pi

Parental Guidance

Diaries of a Wimpy Kid

Whether you want action, adventure or just some great laughs, there is something for everyone in these four family favourites.

All you need to do to see one of them is collect FOUR different tokens from the NINE we will be printing each day in The Sun from Saturday, February 9th. You will then need to fill in an application form (printed in The Sun and available to download here soon), nominating a preferred cinema location and two preferred weekends that you'd like to go.

Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and will be valid for a specific date (Saturday or Sunday) on one of your preferred weekends. Subject to availability.

Participating Odeons.

Check sun website for new numbers.

If you have already sent it going off the old list from below I will upload the pdf file so that you can send this to the Sun so you can get tickets for the right cinema.

  • Thanks I do like our odeon as its a bit out of the main town and easier to get parked. I don't normally get the sun but as we have a woodburner I'm always happy to buy a newspaper for an offer as I can then use the paper for the fire, no waste :)
  • It's so unfortunate that cinemas in general are so expensive that you have to collect vouchers to visit one. Last time I took my son to see Nativity play 2 and had to pay £20 for two tickets. Surely, it shouldn't be more then £5 each
  • We only go to the cinema because my husband had a cea card so I get in free as the carer
september wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.
october wins - grants tumblers, £20 petrol voucher, sega console, iphone
novembers wins - £50 on walkers rainy day, £50 itunes voucher
    march wins - dog treats

It is if you use orange wednesday
  • Hopefully people dont ruin this like the redspottedhanky deal with sun last week getting codes, reading people spamming getting around twenty codes and that was a day earlier than meant to be cause someone found out the last code.
  • I thought I read it was tokens to collect and send off ( might be mistaken though ) if its codes then I won't bother if that's what happens. Its not as if I read the sun. Pity it wasn't the mail that's free in Waitrose :D

We only go to the cinema because my husband had a cea card so I get in free as the carer

hi, about this cea card, do the cardholder and carer get in free or it depends on the cinema? our cinema here in frome said i need to pay a discounted rate of £4.50, not free... tia
  • We saw Life of Pi on last week's Orange Wed. It cost £15.50. That's £13.50 for one ticket and £2 for the second "because it's 3D". We had taken our own 3D glasses, or I think we might have been charged more again.

We've been seeing films on Orange Weds for years, but this is clearly outrageous. We'll look at the Tesco Blinkbox deal, the Lovefilm deal... Or we'll wait till they come out on DVD & buy them. If Odeon want to follow HMV into oblivion, they are going the right way about it.
