    Check the tyres yourself. get a gauge to measure the tread depth. If they are above 1.6mm they are legal.

    Some garages will say 2mm or 3mm tyres need replacing, But they are still legal. Pads were completely worn. Again they may say 3 or 4mm on those are badly worn. Yet still doing the job and will do for thousands of miles yet.

    So how badly worn are they?

    I have photos of the tyres exhaust and brake pads, should i go back to the dealer.

    And never darken Krap Fitt again. Find a proper local independently run garage not a rip off chain- esp as you have said you don't know anything about cars. Good luck!
