About to buy second hand Skoda Fabia 1.4 only fault I can see is it makes a slight metallic noise when started from cold. Dealers says they all do this so do the VWs polos which have same platform. Any comments?

My brother in laws skoda fabia (1.9 diesel) makes a strange noise when first starting the engine. Been like that for over a year but in my opinion it doesn't sound very healthy though the car is running fine.Well, when it's not needing money spent on it every year for the mot.0
