Electricity - 'Zest4'

I have been with ZEST4 for 10 weeks with no problems. However, I see from their web site that prices have just increased. My annual bill will be approx 13% higher compared with the prices when I signed up.
I haven't received anything in writing but the PDF price list on their web site is dated 26/05/05 (yesterday).
I will stick with ZEST4 for now. They still work out in the top 3 suppliers of the comparison searches I have carried out.
I would suggest anyone thinking of switching visits the ZEST4 web site http://www.zest4.com/ to check on prices as it looks like the comparison web sites e.g. http://www.energylinx.co.uk/ have not updates their prices yet.

Thanks for the warning. According to my copy of the T&Cs, they can't increase prices for existing customers without giving written notice. Like you, I haven't been informed yet. Maybe we will get a few months more on the old rate before it jumps.koru0

I am waiting for my transfer from BG to zest4 for my electricity to be completed and have just found from using Simply Switch that npower are now the cheapest elec for me, saving me approx £9 pa over zest4 <<shame>>. Anyone know if npower are due a rise soon, as that would make me happy again! (still saving alot compared to BG though).
Fortunately Equigas are still cheapest for my Gas....0 -
Zest4 so far have been very good, very helpful when I phoned them. All paper work completed and switch complete, just waiting for first bill.
Haven't been notified about the price rise yet.

I've been with Zest 4 since the beginning of the year. They are great and the customer service is the best I have seen from a company for the last 5 years. I gave them a call yesterday about the price rise and they said that they have no plans at the moment to raise the price for existing customers. When they do though, they would give me 3 months written notice! The May prices are only for new customers.
