Electricity - 'Zest4'

Hi, just starting to investigate moving electric supplier. I have checked 3 comparison sites and Zest4 (https://www.zest4.co.uk) seems to be by far the cheapest . . . but it is only mentioned on Energylink and not on uSwitch and Energyhelpline.

A search on this site finds zero . . .

Anyone used Zest4?

Any feedback and comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have been with Zest4 for 3 weeks and had my final bill from Powergen.

Only problem so far is they haven't set up the direct debit with my bank yet. Also their call centre is only open in office hours, if that's important. But they are very cheap, I'm paying less than 5p per unit (after the first few hundred units) compared with over 7p with Powergen.

I have also been with Zest4 for a few weeks. Having changed suppliers a number of times for myself and family members, I am impressed by the way the switchover process has gone at their end (sending clear paperwork updating progress, providing switchover date, requesting final meter reading). They have managed to set up my direct debit, and payments have begun.

I will miss the ability to manage my account online, but am happy to give this up given the current cost savings over other suppliers in my area/usage level.
    Up Tipp!

Update: The direct debit mandate has now been set up on my current account, so no problems at all with the transfer.

having just recieved my electricity statement from NPower and noticed the jump from £42 per month to 64! ive decided to shop around. Energylinx brought up Zest4 which no other comparison site came up with. does anyone have any experience of this company the site was unable to assess service but with savings of £250 a year over NPower and 80 less than the next best i'm very tempted.

thanks for comments i've took the plunge

been about a week now with no contact from zest...

Applied 2½ weeks ago to switch to ZEST4 for electricity supply, via https://www.energyon.co.uk. Energyon have acknowledged the application, but not a dickiebird so far from the zesty ones. Starting to wonder whether to worry or not.

On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

Have now applied online and a couple of days later the ackowledgement arrived in the post.

I phoned the freephone number today and it was answered very quickly by, unusually, a cheerful helpful person.

Transfer should be complete during May.

By my calculations I will save approx 17% a year on my electric bills.
