could i claim this back as mis sold as i was already covered?
Why do you think it was mis-sold?
Accidental death cover is a bit of a gimmick. Very few people die as a result of an accident and the sum insured is very low. You agreed to take out a larger amount and get full life assurance rather than just accidental. Nothing in there suggests any mis-sale.
As long as you have a financial need for life assurance then it wont be classed as a mis-sale.also i got a loan so they upgraded my account to advantage gold i said i didnt want the ppi and she said she would put it on to help it go through and i could cancel it later but i never received information for how to cancel and then i forgot about it, any ideas or information would be great x
You have potential grounds there and you should visit the reclaims PPI section for more details on what you should do.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks I think I will go with them and cancel the policy I have with L & G - once I've checked whether that has critical illness with it or not that it!0 -
Biggest problem with Tesco's life insurance is that it has reviewable premiums and not guaranteed. That's partly why its cheaper.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). My fiance and I are currently buying a small house at the moment. Our repayment mortgage every month will be around £650. Both of us could pay this if either of us lost our jobs etc. Do we need mortgage life assurance?0

Life insurance pays out a lump sum if either of you die - it has nothing to do with your monthly mortgage payment.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
