Furthermore to the above post, I spent a few hours today going through a number of insurance quotes with both brokers and compare sites.
The quotes ranged from near £500 down to £270. As much as possible I gave same the information with all quotes (excess sometimes didn't match) the best price was through Towergate and AXA. Before giving me the price for the AXA policy the guy on the phone went through all the benefits and to be honest I was just letting him ramble on before expecting a high premium, so to say I was impressed with the price is an understatement!
As I would have to purchase the CC membership as well if I wanted their policy I've managed a £100+ saving.
Shop around and don't expect your current insurer to be the cheapest at renewal time either.0 -
The Caravan Club won't touch German caravans, we used to be with the Caravan and Camping Club but moved to the National Farmers Union on recomendation from another caravaner, much cheaper.
