Can anyone give advice for cheap touring caravan insurance services please? I've got a hobby van thats permenantly pitched from march till november cheapest qoute i've had so far is £315
I was only expecting around £150! Gutted!

I use these...Mine is £148 yearly..Like your ours is on a seasonal pitch but for 12 months of the year we never move it...She is quite old though a 2000 6 berth...But they may be able to help you ;-))0 -

A friend of ours had the same problem with his Hobby van and I think he insured his through the Co-op. The site we have our tourer on won't allow Hobby vans on the site because they have the door on the opposite side to the other vans so it messes up arrangements with awnings and parking etc.:hello: :wave: please play nicely children !0

We have been on a few sites that won't allow Hobbys...Shame really as they are amazing vans..My Hubbys Mom & Dad had one a few years ago...Ended up a really sad story though that I dont really want to go into on here as it would be worrying for the OP but its no wonder sites refuse them ...:(0

I assume you have just bought it an now checked out insurance? Hobby's are always more expensive and restricted where they are accepted for reasons already mentioned.
If you haven't already try a more specialist forum like ukcampsite or caravantalk for further ideas and recommendations0 -
