  • Do you have wifi? If so, you'd need to click 'wifi' on the tablet settings, pick the network and enter the password. You'll then be online

Do you need the internet out of the house? Do you want to pay to do so? If so, pick 3g

How does your laptop connect to your home internet?
With an Ethernet cable, or wireless ?

If you don't know what wifi is, please, DO NOT buy a tablet. You'll give the tech support guy a headache.
Sorry, but the customer is not always right. Often, you're very very wrong.

All you do is connect via wifi. 3G works with a data simcard and you buy data every month. This can be done via contract or via payg.

You prolly wont use 3G, you mostly use a tablet at home on your free wireless internet connection (wi-fi) - even outside the home most places, hotels, resteraunts, trains have free wifi - our council are even going to wifi our whole town for free

you only need 3G if you cant get free wifi and in that case you'll need to buy a sim card and pay for it monthly

glad i didn't bother with 3G - i bought wifi tablet only - even thou my mums house doesn't have wifi, i just connected to the internet using my mobile, which saved me paying extra £100 for 3g tablet and saved the cost of monthly sim data
When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

If you have a smartphone the chances are that there will be a portable wifi hotspot built in. This enables you to connect your mobile phone to a wifi enabled device such as a tablet or even a Pc.
