I've had a couple of Cosmos holidays through them...one at 4x and the other at 3x face value.
I didn't save that much though, since I had to pay brochure prices, but from memory I did at least 3x and 2x respectively. But I thought it was worth it.
Plan to do the same again next summer (it's a 2 year 'save' for me) as long as they don't move the goalposts too much in the meantime!0 -

Um, not quiet. The Tesco Credit Card gives 1 point for every *£4* spent (on top of the usual clubcard points, if applicable, ignoring the higher rate on petrol). So this is 0.25% taking things at face-value, or 0.5% when doubled up in store, or up to 1% (well, occasionally 1.25% on a "5x value" short term deal) with Tesco Deals.
Other observation: Tesco give points per transaction, rather than per statement (i.e. if all your transactions were below £3.99 you would get no Credit Card points).
(still makes tesco a good combined card, just not as good as you made it sound)

Honestly,I don't feel like having a cashback that does give me points like tesco points and similar stuff as then I'm restricted on where I can use them.
However if im not wrong, with tesco you earn points in addition to cashback return is that correct?
Has anyone tried santander? it sounds a good deal, especially becaue petrol is one my major spendings.0 -
This is playing with fire you all. Better off staying clear if cards all together. The Santander 123 credit card and current account are both excellent products. Just make sure your spending/direct debit amounts generate sufficient cashback to cover the monthly fee (most people's will).0 -

yes, for those who don't know, 123 santander has a deal where you get your annual fee back; so even if I'd have paid for it, I'd got more cashback than the annual fee but getting an annual fee back is a bonus
I'll try to apply for this now
Thanks0 -
