I think all the comparison sites include VAT in their figures, the energy companies dont always include it

    Cheers.
Yes, it looks like their quote does miss out the VAT so adding in that would bring the price to within couple of quid of what uSwitch say.

    Hi

i live in the West Midlands.

    Hope this link works.

You will see Spark energy are (bizarrely) by far the cheapest for your usage (they seem to be on a concerted push for new customers at the moment). However, the T&Cs are not something I would personally go for but ultimately the decision is yours. But the saving is almost too good to be true . Don't want to say anything else about them TBH but maybe someone else is less tactful? :D If it was me I would go through topcashback for the Scottish Power fixed deal - £80 cash back available with this. This is fixed until Sep 2014 so you have guaranteed tariff rates for one winter.

Any more advice don't hesitate to get back to me.

    Hi Folks

    Many thanks for you replies.

I'm with E ON at the moment and they have told me my annual consumption for gas is 24920 and electricity is 3809.

I thought it might be more complicated than just putting the figures on a comparison site, because of various discount offered for duel fuel, monthly direct debits, on line tariffs, and cash back.

If someone can be kind enough to help me out on this, I would be most grateful.

    Thank You.

    But which tariff?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
