I have no idea how it can be enforced. Which magazine is trying to put pressure on Amazon to stop their sellers breaching the regulations by selling electrical goods with two pin plugs. Whether they will succeed is another matter entirely.
Yes but amazon is a company that has a uk based presence and so can be fined. A random none uk/eu based country which allows customer to order goods to the uk is basically untouchable!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I am sure that will be the problem with trying to enforce it. As i said, I have no idea how it will be done, or if it can be done just that Which reckon it is illegal and are trying to get it stopped.0 -

Yes.
In cyberspace you can pick any jurisdiction you like. Having '.co.uk' at the end of a domain name means nothing at all. Amazon.co.uk is Luxembourg, Google.co.uk is USA and so forth.0
