I wouldn't for a 20-30min job something like £40-50 it's not efficient use of workshop space cant really add that to the final bill, so would be paid very little for the time the car took up space

everywhere I have worked I have replaced the door glass, apart from bonded windows.

Did you smash the back windscreen to get into the car or a side window? Side windows are an easy chore to replace, windscreens, bonded or not, you have no chance of refitting properly.
Look through your local weekly paper and get the local mobile guy to come round and fit if your not confident.

i found a company that quoted £28 + vat so i am more than happy

p.s As if someone has put a spell on us my wife was driving home and some horrible kids threw stones from the bridge and now she has a crack in the window screen so have to get that repaired now
